Due to the bizarre things that have been taking place in the Harley Benton ownners community and groups on Facebook lately I decided to put togeter all material and explain things here.

Note this has NOTHING to do with Musikhaus Thomann or the brand Harley Benton.

In 2016 I discovered the Harley Benton guitars and was surprised over the good quality and price. One guitar led to another one and at that time I had a good connection at the retail seller who took good care of me.

In 2018 I was asked to record some songs for Donald Trump and for the videos I made one of the Harley Benton guitars to a guitar with President Trump on it. I posted a picture in a few of the groups for Harley Benton players that are NOT affiliated with Musikhaus Thomann. The guitar became the most hated guitar over night. I decided to leave the group ran by Cory Mura as it was too much drama. I continued to be in the oldest Harley Benton group on Facebook started by a lady named Leto Papagiannakopoulou in Greece. I did not post anymore pictures of the guitar with Donald Trum until I received following message from Rick Peeters who had come in to the group with one thing in mind and that was to take over her group. He had before this been partners with Cory Mura but Mr. Mura started his own page due to diffferent opinions.

Before this Rick Peeters had several times showed his own interest in being the "leader" of the group and on a daily basis he kept writing that he does it his way, like it or leave. This was before the incident with the Trump guitar. Leto removed the picture as she got complaints from members and I understand her to not involve politics in a guitar group. RICK LEFT AND STARTED AN OWN GROUP:

I joined his group as it was not only about Harley Benton guitars it was just another guitar group. Still he had Letos page in mind and asked me to spy for him and let people know how they could join his group since he had blocked Leto.

After this I did not pay much attention to Rick Peeters group. I was posting pictures and videos of my Harley Benton guitars on Letos page, still the oldes Harley Benton fan page on Facebook. She started the group in 2012. One day she made me a moderator without asking and I helped out sorting out things in the group. Approving members as well as deleting spam and other inappropriate posts.

Earler Peters wrote that he grew the group from 2000+ members to 3000+ members. When he manipulated Leto to take him back as admin of the group she had grown the group to over 11 000 memers.

Yesterday, September 4th 2020 I removed a post as I thought it is insane for these members to keep posting pictured of damaged cardboard boxes from Thomann claiming it is normal Thomann quality. I said that it has nothing to do with Thomann or Harley Benton as a brand that the boxes gets there damaged. I know for a fact that everything is intact when it leaves their warehouse and personally I NEVER received a damaged box. I have received many boxes from them, believe me.

Due to this Rick Peeters kicked me out of the group as well as he kicked out all other admins. He also kicked out Leto who is the founder of the group. We administrators and moderators had a chat when he was back and none of us felt good about it but since it was Letos group she had the final word. Here is how Rick Peters stole the group yesterday.

He had it all planned and during the short time he was in the group from August 2020 he had meny people leave the group. We are many who stand behind Leto and we will do all we can for her to get her group back.
