Dear Friends,
We have just finished some days here in Sweden. We left home February 9th and drove down to Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö with some more guitars. The store has sold many guitars and we hope to continue to serve the people with guitars in the future as well.
After we had unloaded the bus we slept one night in VIksjö and from there we drove down to Runemo where we parked outside the Betel church, one of our homes here in Sweden. The following day brother Ulf picked me up and we drove to Bollnäs for an interview for Trosgnistan and their TV program that is being broadcasted on Kanal 10 in Sweden. We had a good talk about what we are doing and my doctor had sent a video greeting where he told the truth, that I was dying 19 years ago. What Jesus did in my life is a verified miracle and I am over thankful for these 19 years of grace.
On Thursday evening we attended the service in the Betel church in Runemo during a prayer week. There have been too many tragedies in the area lately. If I understood it right four young people decided to end their lives within one week. So sad. The youth is lost today and it is hard to be young in the world we are living in today. We hope that we can make a difference and encourage the youth to be themselves and look at themselves through the eyes of Jesus.
There is a revival amongst young people in Finland, Sweden, USA and many other countries and it is about time. They need something stable to believe in and the only one that can fill that empty place is Jesus Christ. Over the 18 years of ministry we have had the grace to meet many young people and it is so heartwarming to meet someone who have grown up and comes and tells us that our service had some kind of impact on their life in a positive way. This is why we are doing this and these stories is also why we keep doing what we are doing.
On Saturday brother Ulf picked me up from Runemo and we drove to Gävle. One and a half hours south. We were invited to the Salvation Army for a Saturday evening and I shared my life story and played some music. It was such a wonderful evening and I believe that nobody left the place without receiving hope from Jesus. It was a warm and wonderful church and we hope to return here in the future. It was our first time ever in Gävle.
Ulf drove me back to the bus in Runemo where Sebastian had prepared everything so I could just change clothes and we started our three and a half hour drive back up to Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö. Sometimes it is hard to first do a service and then do a longer drive but it is wonderful to wake up and not have to think about driving anywhere.
The week we spent in Viksjö working on guitars and hanging up more guitars in the store as well as list them in our on-line store. Lots of work but we also saw both guitars and basses change owners while we were there. We thank brother Stefan and his family for doing this together with us as it is a help for us as when we stand still between the tours we have no income.
This winter has been cold and the electricity prices are ridiculous. We have received some help but still we are in a struggle. Being under financial pressure gives me stress and right now I feel that something need to happen. I am praying to God for a miracle. I have seen Him help us so many times before but not when we wanted, everything has been in His timiming.
Saturday evening we had open doors at Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö with a night of fellowship. This was the second time one of these evenings were held and they will continue. e had a nice little crowd and Jesus was in the midst of us. We also celebrated brother Stefans birthday that is today.
We have now finally booked our tickets to Germany and due to prices we are leaving a week earlier than we had planned. We leave Finland, March 30th and we are open for doing ministry the Easter week in north Germany. We have bookings until the last week of May so it will be a long tour. We pray and hope that things will work out so that we can leave in peace without any hanging issues. As soon as we receive our schedule we will post the dates and locations in the calendar.
We have not been able to raise enough funds yet to break even for last year. We are still negative a few thousand euros and this would be high priority for us to have solved before we leave for Germany and The Netherlands. If YOU feel led to help us out with doing what we are doing; brining the Gospel to the people where they are YOU the details are below.
Looking forward to get home and start my walks as it has not been much exercise after the pnemonia and it is always hard to find time for this while you are on the road. Especially this time of the year when it is cold out.
The new GOSPEL EXPRESS album is mixed and mastered and will be out March 27th on all digital platforms. We are also going to have CD:s with us on the road. I am very pleased with the result and together with good musicians I finished my 20th album. So thankful!
God Bless You All!
