"Those Christians..."

4 August 2026

Dear friends,

Last time I wrote we had just arrived in Riddarhyttan for a couple of days of rest. We did rest and we actually had a blessed time. We had enough time to rest, bicycle and also swim in the beautiful lake.

A refreshing swin in Riddarhyttan

From Riddarhyttan we got back on the road and on our way to Åmål, we stopped in Lidköping where we took care of some business and met up with Pastor Palle from the local Pentecostal church. A wonderful brother we have known for some years now.

We met our brother and friend Palle in Lidköping

We parked the bus outside Kungsbergskyrkan in Åmål and had a couple of days off. We like the little town and here we also spent time on our bikes as well as took it easy. I see that as age is coming these days off while we are on the road are necessary. It was very different 15 years ago when I could do seven prisons, four churches and a few alcohol and drug rehabs in one week. That was then and now is now. It is good to know your limits.

We did a bicykle ride from Åmål to Säffle and back, total 35 kilometers

From Åmål we drove to Säffle where we parked at our place at the camping at Duse Udde. Brother Glenn came and picked us up and took us to the park in Arvika where we had our fist event in this part of Sweden.

We had a blessed evening. The weather was good and people stood and listened from a distance. Often people think more about what their friends think if they are seen together with ”those Christians” than what God thinks about them. If they knew how much God loves them it would change their lives.

On the bike in Säffle

Thursday we had a day off and we took care of some things. Day offs is not just getting out on the bike and have fun. While we are on the road I also have to do lots of office work and that day was dedicated to that, like today when I am updating this webpage.

Outreach at ICA Kvantum in Säffle

Friday we started with outreach outside the big ICA KVANTUM store in the shopping area and the weather was perfect for this. Again we saw people sitting in their cars with their windows open and people listen from a distance. I wonder why it is so dangerous to be seen with ”those Christians”. On the other hand I understand them as some christians are just judgemental, preaching fire and brimstones but unfortunately that does not bring people closer to God.

Pentecostal church in Säffle

The same evening we had our first service in the local Pentecostal church and it was a very hot evening. I shared my life story and did actually play some new songs that are not yet released.

With brother Erik in Säffle

Saturday we did outreach in a local huge second hand store and once again we witnessed people listening from a distance. There were even people standing behind the wall where I was sitting listening to the Gospel and the music. If we as ”those Christians” are known for being judgemental and think we are better that other people I do not want to be placed in that group of ”those Christians”. I am rather in the group where I am myself but my message is Jesus centered and filled with hope.

Saturday evening we had our second service in the Pentecostal Church and I spoke about ”when our faith is tested”. Recently we received some sad news from a dear friend and brother, who’s son died in a motorcycle accident. Their faith were really tested and it was their way to handle the tragedy in a way that gives glory to God that spoke to my heart. I shared this and I think most of the people had tears in their eyes. Another wonderful evening with Jesus in the midst of us.

Sunday morning it was Sunday church and the evening before I had prepared a message. When I woke up in the morning it was like God told me about discipleship and making disciples. The great commandment was the topic and the message that it is for ALL christians. It is not only for pastors and evangelists. All christians are called to share the Gospel in their own way.

Our series of meetings were extended with one day so we attended the LP recovery meeting. I share parts of my story sangs some songs and spoke about the renewal of our mind. People often do not understand these Biblical terms so I explained that it is just that we have to change the way we are thinking. It was a wonderful end of our series of meetings and outreach here in Säffle. Thank you Glenn, Erik and the Pentecostal church for having us this summer again.

Monday evening in Säffle

Tomorrow, Wednesday we leave Säffle and drive to Hagfors. On Thursday we do two events in the park named Brikebergsparken. One at 15:00 and the other one at 18:00.We pray for good weather.

Me and Sebastian out on a bike ride

On Friday we are visiting Karlstad for the first time ever and it is an honor to have an evening in Korskyrkan that are known for growth and making disciples through their Alpha classes.

A refreshing swin in lake Vänern

So far it has been worth everything and so much more. We have seen God move and this is the only reason we do what we do.We still haven't done anything on the air suspension bags on the bus but we hope it holds together until it is possible.

This week we have done at least 20 kilometers per day on the bikes

After Karlstad we return to Viksjö where I am going play August 12th on the Wednesday evening grill & cruise inn event and on Sunday on SSRA Hot Rod Show. We are also going to have guitardays at Mat & Nostalgi that week.

As you might now we activated our channels on TikTok, Instagram and X again and we post stuff there that we don’t post elsewhere. Actually we have some kind of breakthrough on TikTok at the moment and it is all about sharing the love of God with the rest of the world. I might do videos in Swedish since we are in Sweden but there are updates also in English.
