God continues to be good!

11 May 2025

Dear friends,

It has been a while since last update but we have been busy on our tour here in Germany and it has been such a blessed tour so far. It is one month since we left home and we have one month more on the road here in Germany. Thank you all who have prayed for us, without your prayers it would not have been possible to do this and it has already been worth so much. So much that it can not be counted in any currency.

On a walk in Nurnberg

We had some days off in Nurnberg and I am back on track with my walking. Had many wonderful walks in Nurnberg and I also met people to talk to while I was out walking. The fun part is that you can share the Gospel and talk about Jesus anywhere.

1st of May in Nurnberg

Our first event in Nurnberg was on May 1st at a biker rally on Munchenerstrasse. This is something that started very small a long time ago. Some bikers met there and hung out for a while and then went out for a ride.

It has been growing and growing over the years and I should say there were around
20 000 people there that sunny day. It was the perfect weather but a bit hot to sit on. a tractor trailer right under the sun and play guitar, sing and talk about Jesus.

1st of May in Nurnberg

It was a wonderful day and many heard that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. This is what we are here for, to tell people that God loves them so much that He sent Jesus to die for ALL of us so that we could receive Him into our lives, believe in Him and therefore have eternal life.

Me with brother Thomas from Ride On

May the 4th we had a breakfast event together with Ride On at the Zollhaus Biergarten. The weather was not on our side this day so we were indoors.

Even if we were indoors we had a pretty good crowd and it was another wonderful time to share the love of Jesus with the people.

The same evening I went out for a walk and when I passed the reception at the campground a younger man came out and asked me how the concert was. I said it was good. He asked if I could do a concert there at the campground the following evening and he would invite the other campers.

Spontaneous event at the camp park in Nurmberg May 5th

Of course we sing, play and talk about Jesus wherever it is possible so told him lets do it. It was a bit chilly that Monday evening but we had a small but good crowd. Since I don’t know German and many do not know English it was a bit hard to share my testimony but it was a warm feeling in my heart afterwards when they said ”Thank you for the music”.

Next day we left Nurnberg and drove to Leipzig. Sebastian found out that we can not drive with the bus all the way to the location since they have low emission zones and our bus is so old that it does not qualify for these zones.

Cozy camping space in Leipzig

Brother Marko found a small camping outside the city and at first we had a hard time fitting the bus through the gate. We managed to get in by reversing. Such a wonderful and peaceful place and I now I know it was good we stayed there since the place we were scheduled to park on could have been a bit dangerous. On the other sice of the street was something like a center for muslims.

Brother Alexander took good care of us in Leipzig

A new contact, Brother Alexander we never met before picked us up with our gear from the bus the following day and took us to a place called Pavillon Der Hoffnung (Pavillion of Hope). We set up our equipment and did not really first know what to think.

Pavillion of hope in Leipzig

When it was time to start all seats were filled and they first served a free meal for the people. People in need come to this place that also do a wonderful social work amongst immigrants and refugees.

The event was translated to both German and Russian as there were many people who came from Ukraine. We all know the situation there and people have had to leave their homes because of the stupid war. It was a blessed time and people received new hope in their hopeless situations.

Bus service in Leipzig

Next day when we were on our way we realized that we were loosing power steering on the bus so I wanted to take it to a shop and get it fixed as when it breaks down totally we stand there with no steering. We got to Scania Leipzig and they first told us the waiting time is 2-3 months. They still decided to help us so they took in the work, exchanged the rosted pipe and we could continue our trip a litle bit late.

A new friend at Seehaus in Leipzig

We arrived at Seehaus in Neukieritzsch around 6:30 pm. We loaded in our equipment, did a sound check went back to the bus to change clothes and started the meeting at 7:30.

Seehaus in Leipzig

Seehaus is an open prison for younger people. Since it had been a hectic day I was first a bit nervous and the young men looked a little bit like they had an ”attitude”. I started to sing, play and talk. After a while the atmosphere changed and these wonderful young men were really listening.

I felt that I needed to tell them that they are blessed to be at this place and that it is here were they build up their future. All who were there had come there from a regular prison after applying for a place at this very special place. They also needed to know that the people working there is not working there for the money. They work there because they love them.

Beautiful landscape in Germany

This became another evening that I am so thankful for. An evening when God did miracles and hearts were open for Jesus. I gave them my book and afterwards everyone came and had a talk and these were really wonderful young men. We got to pray together with a few of them and it became one of those nights that just had to happen to gain strength and motivation to continue this race.

A smaller road in Germany

From there we drove to Meuselwitz, not that far away. A local church had rented the football stadiums banquet hall and there we set up our gear preparing for the evening.

Meuselwitz, Germany

Most of the seats were occupied and I did play some more rock and roll to start with as thats what they wanted to hear. After a short break I continued but now with the songs from the ”Still Thankful” album and I shared my life story.

My life story is the same as usual but today it involves more strings to the Bible and it is important to back up things from my story with the Bible. I could feel that some people did not want to hear about Jesus but they got to hear about Him anyway and that is why we are doing this.

The following day we drove here to Marienberg where CMS (Christian motorcyclists of Sachsen (former DDR) had an event. Last night we just attended their event, listened to Teresa and her band, took a walk and prepared for today.

Campfire in Marienberg

This morning around 200 motorcycles parked on the parking place and the stage was rigged. They had a Biker Church service or Church service for bikers, how ever you want to call it. I opened up with a song and played a few songs in between their program and the sermon. Many people came forward to be prayed for and I did some soft background music.

Bikers in Marienberg

It was a wonderful time together and the day ended with food and fellowship before the started to tear down the event area. We are still here. We leave for Zwickau tomorrow that will be our base for the coming two weeks.

What I hear we have one more prison booked as well as homeless ministry. We have a request from a school and brother Marko who is working hard on this is working out the final details so more dates will be added to the calendar.

Biker Church service in Marienberg

Honestly I am just so blessed to be able to do this. It is such a privilege to serve together with all the people we have met and are meeting. We have one more month to go and we are home for three weeks before it is time for our almost two month tour of Sweden. We still have open dates in Sweden that we would like to fill but at the end of the day everything is in God’s hands.

Biker Church service in Marienberg

I have been doing this full time now for 17 years. Sebastian has been on board full time for over 10 years. I am so thankful for him as without Sebastian I would not be able to to this. I would never make it alone. Such a wonderful thing to do this as father and son. Thank you all again for your prayers and support!

God Bless You All!
