Finally things starts to happen!

13 October 2026

Dear friends,

It has been a long time since I wrote. Last time we had arrived here in Germany and done our first events. We had a private event in a biker club outside Nurnberg on September 25th. After that we had a week off when we stayed at the beautiful campground in Stadtsteinach.

Me and my son on our electric bikes in Stadtsteinach

Everyday, sun or rain we were out on our bicycles and I also got lots of logistic work done for the long tour in the spring. We already now have a good start in our calendar so I am looking forward to the spring tour.

Quality time with our parrots in the tourbus

Unfortunately when we came to Zwickau there had been the loss of two church members and it was most likely not the right place to host events with me so we had another week off. We have riding our bikes and worked on some musical projects as well as met people here and there. The good thing is that we meet people in a natural way when we are out on our bikes and now when we have to booklet in German language it is easy to hand it out as people often ask us what we are doing here in Germany. That takes us to a place where we naturally can talk about not only our mission but most important of all talk about Jesus and give the the booklet with my life story in a short version, some scriptures and information.

Team meeting with Thomas and Andreas in the bus in Zwickau

It has been har and is still hard. Thankful that we have the bus and that we can cook here as our financial situation right now is that we have a total of 5,49€ in the bank and some change in our pockets. Things happen and things does not go as planned but that is part of doing what we are doing.

Recording some vocals on some new songs in the bus

Yesterday we started again and we visited the prison in Bautzen. Bautzen Prison is notorious for its brutal history under the Nazis, the Soviet occupation, and East Germany’s communist regime. Political prisoners were held there under harsh and inhumane conditions, and Bautzen II later became a feared secret Stasi prison.

Thomas drove to Bautzen and back! Two hours each direction!

It was the second time I visited this prison so I knew the place. We had a group of around 40 precious people who were there for a reason. I don’t know why my heart is calling me into the prisons. Honestly it is nothing my brain can grasp and my brain does not understand why I keep going into these places. I guess it is something God has put on my heart and sometimes the way from the heart to the brain is long. Therefore it feels good to do what the heart tells me to do.

Arriving at the Bautzen prison

We had a wonderful hour and they were really listening and paying attention. The message in the prisons is not exactly what I preach elsewhere. Here I can encourage them to search God’s plan for their lives and get to know Jesus while they are there. Many of the interns are young so when they do this they invest in the rest of their lives.

I was very happy when we came back to the bus. I was filled with joy but tired. Now this week is pretty full. On Wednesday we are visiting the women’s prison in Chemnitz. Friday we are returning to Seehaus outisde Leipzig that is kind of a youth prison. Saturday we are in Kirche für Dich in Thierfeld and Sunday in Immanuel Gemeinde in Thum so it will be a busy week and that makes me happy.

During the days off I started to do a series of devotionals ”My personal thoughts” and there are already three episodes out on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. I will continue to do this since it seems like the message is reaching out to where it needs to go. I just want to share hope with others.

I will come back next week with an update. Now I am happy that we are rolling again and things are happening. We are still in a bad financial situation so if you want to help us bring hope to people here in Germany you are more than welcome to give a gift. The details are below.

God Bless!
