Dear Friends,
Last week we continued to bring the Gospel to people here in Germany. We arrived here in Zwickau last week Monday and have been parked in a fellow believers driveway. I got a chance to do some walking during the first days here as we usually have the beginning of the weeks off.

On Thursday we visited a food service place for homeless people and people in need. We shared the good news with music and testimony and the people who came there for a meal did also get a spiritual meal. To me it was a wonderful time and the most wonderful thing is this one man who was there who I have met twice during my walks since. He is always happy and we try to communicate without knowing each others language.

On Friday our dear brother Theo from Vogltandperle in Oelsnitz picked us up here in Zwickau and took us to his place. A place that I have seen growing in so many ways now the last three years.

The weather was not on our side but we had a full tent and a wonderful time together. I did some rock and roll, shared what God laid on my heart together with my testimony.
A beautiful story is this one couple who were out walking their dogs last year when we were there. They heard music from a distance and followed the sound. They came there and decided to bring the dogs home and come back. The following Sunday they attended church and have started to go there to church since then.

To me a story like this is a big thing. They were there and they come and told me themselves about what Jesus has done in their lives since last year. This is what keeps me going.
On Friday there was also a pretty big article in the local newspaper about what we are doing here as well as information about our tour. It was a good day for the article to be published since it pushed for the event we had coming up on Saturday evening.

On Saturday it was time for a concert in Matthäuskirche in Bockwa-Zwickau. An old church from the late 1800´s with an interesting history. We get there in time, set up our gear and did a sound check. Was sitting and talking with some people and I was a bit sceptic if anyone would show up or would it be a small crowd in a big old church.

When the time was 5pm and it was time to start we had a full church. It was a wonderful evening and the translator I never met before did a fantastic job. I shared how good Jesus has been to me and told the people that; if He could do these things in my life He can do it in anyones life.
After the event we had good talks with people and me and Sebastian returned very blessed to our bus to fellowship with our parrots.

On Sunday we returned to Vogtlandperle and when we got there the rain was pouring down so we set up in the tent again. I was preparing a more rock and roll set for this evening and during sound check I played some of my older rock songs.

Right before it was time to start I just felt that this is the evening when I am going to play songs from the ”Still Thankful” album. I changed the guitar to the baritone guitar I use for these songs and were hoping the sound would be under control.

Started the Sunday service with telling the people that there will be no rock and roll tonight. I spoke about when I recorded the album and started to play the cello again after a 40 year break.

Some of the songs I played live for the first time ever and it was a warm feeling and a good atmosphere in the tent. The Holy Spirit was present and it became a totally different evening than I had planned. It is always good to listen to God.
This week we have been off or that is probably the wrong term to say since we are working on the upcoming tour in Sweden. I have had some time to walk as well and I did my personal best yesterday since 2023 when I walked 17,2 kilometers in one day. Today I only walked 11,7. Feels good to get back in shape and there are so many beautiful places here.

Also in the city centre you can tell that there was east and west before 1989 when the Berlin wall came down and Germany became one nation. You still see buildings from the old times but they are working hard to restore these old buildings. I prefer when they restore old buildings instead of building new. Lots of old history here.

This week we start ministering for four days in a row on Thursday when we enter a high security prison in Bauzen. Friday we are back in Leipzig for another facility for people who have had their issues with criminality. Saturday we have a concert in Neudorf and on Sunday morning we are part of another CMS biker church event in Greiz-Göltzschtalbrücke. From there we drive back to Nurnberg to prepare for the last leg of the tour.

Thank you all for your prayers! We have seen God do amazing things and we kindly ask you to continue praying as going into prisons is a totally different mission than being in a church or on the street. The tour continues so I say to be continued….
God Bless You All!
