Swedish adventure has started!

July 6th me and Sebastian left home and took the ferry from Vasa, Finland to Holmsund, Sweden. Gospel Express was loaded with guitars for the music corner at Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö. Guitars we had with us from Germany and Sebastian has done a fantastic work fixing them up. The music corner is no longer a corner there are guitars all over the place and so far they have sold very good.

The first day we worked with the guitars, checked them and decorated the retro store with guitars. A man stopped by and for some reason he felt led to stop there and talk to someone. It ended up with me and Stefan praying for him and exchanging contact details.

Tuesday was such a wonderful day. We continued working in the store and early evening I got the grace to baptize a young woman from Uganda who wanted to be baptized. It was such a beautiful and holy moment.

On Wednesday it was time for our first event and it was the Cruise Inn and Grill buffet at Mat & Nostalgi. They have changed everything since last year and built a brand new stage. The new concept is really good and people really like the new set up Stefan’s son Peter came up with.

I started the first set with some more secular songs to get the crowd with me. I shared small parts of my life between the songs and I have to say that I love playing rock and roll, especially when you have a crowd listening

The second set was more Rockabilly based and I did songs from the new album as well as song from last years Rockabilly Hymns in Swedish. I shared my story, gave out a simple Gospel so all could understand what it is about. We can not do anything to be saved. Jesus already did it all and we just need to receive Jesus, God’s love gift to this world.

We had such beautiful days in Vikjsö and we are returning there August 13th for one more evening. I see that the organized church has built up walls around them and for some reason it is hard for those who are seeking the truth to enter the doors to the churches. I just feel that I need to put out something that we can meet people and also baptize them as it is an important thing. God willing we will baptize more people when we get back in August.

Thursday we drove to Drakudden outside Stockholm where LP vännernas kamratförening had a camp. They work with people who have or have had problems with drugs and alcohol.

I did thow sessions on Friday and it was another wonderful day in God’s service. Honestly I have nothing to give. I have just been blessed with so much forgiveness and miracles in my life so what I do is simple. I play music and tell my life story and a simple Gospel that all can believe.

From Drakudden we drove to a camgpround here in Västerås where we are parked now. Yesterday we visited our friend and brother Daniel Alm and had a small gathering in his home. It was another wonderful day with Jesus in the centre.

Now we have a couple of days of and on Wednesday we are going to do outreach in Stadsparken in Arvika followed with four days of outreach and meetings in Säffle. From there we continue to Molkom, Hagfors, Sunnemo, Runemo and Bollnäs.

We have too many open days in August but I have a feeling that there is a reason for this. We are thankful where we are right now and so far this adventure has been such a blessed time. Wonderful people and an awesome God.
