Dear friends,
After wonderful and happening days in Hälsingland we returned to Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö. It was almost two weeks to the next event there and I was worried about being sitting for such a long time.

We worked on the guitars in the store and just being there working on the guitars, decorating the guitar department led me to very close conversations with people. It became all natural as we started to talk guitars.

All who come in there knows 1+1 = 2 and that I am the ”Rockpastor”. It is not a secret where I stand spiritually and that I believe in Jesus. This means that they already know that I am a christian so I do not havre to tell them that.

I don’t know how many people I got to havre deep talks with or how many books we gave away while we were in the Mat & Nostalgi store. All I know is that we reached as many people as on any event. Everyday God sent people our way and the days spent there went fast and I felt that God just placed us there for that period.

We also had time to do some walking and of course we visited the Västanå waterfalls. A place we return to every summer. So beautiful and water in movement is just beautiful.

We also had work on the bus to do after the collision with the moose so Sebastian did a great job on fixing the front end. It was time taking and needed some parts but now it is done and I am thankful to have my son, Sebastian with me on the road.

August 13th it was time for our second event at Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö and we had a pretty big crowd. It was a wonderful evening and I also met
people I haven’t met in a long time.
Wednesday evenings at Mat & Nostalgi during the summer months are something you have to experience yourself. Good food, fellowship and live music. The wonderful thing is that nobody has complained over me talking about Jesus. Of course it has to be natural and real. We do not want to force anything on people so thats why it is good to tell the story about how Jesus came to my rescue 18 years ago.

August 14th, was my birthday and Stefan and the others gathered for a birthday party for me. It was a wonderful day with wonderful people.

Saturday, August 16th was SSRA’s Street & Hot Rod event at Mat & Nostalgi and I did two sets with Pelle Karlsson, known from The Boppers.

The weather was not on our side this day. It was raining so the event ended early. Sometimes it is like that when you do stuff outdoors and basically there is nothing to do about it.

Sunday, August 17th we left Sweden and came home. With me I had an outboard for my boat so on Monday we installed the engine and on Wednesday the boat was out in the water.

I have had some wonderful days in the archipelago. So beautiful and so refreshing. I love being out in my boat. That is a place for me where I relax and gain power for coming adventures.

I have also started working on new musical projects and worked in the new studio. The studio has moved upstairs as the old room is becoming a work shop for Sebastian when he is fixing guitars and other stuff.

Been nice to be home with my wife. Have been visiting mom and dad and there is not so much going on for the rest of the year. This coming weekend we are off to the middle part of the country and we start on Friday in Saarijärvi. Saturday we are doing outreach in Muurame and on Sunday we are in Kouvola.

Keep us in your prayers. We have many things going on and I am so looking forward to return to The Netherlands and Germany next year. We might do a shorter trip in Germany later this year but nothing is confirmed yet.
God Bless You All!
