This is how real Jesus is!

Now it is summer and when I say summer I mean summer. It has been very hot but praise God for AC in the bus. Without AC we would have melted. We have no AC while driving, only when plugged in to electricity. We are hoping to restore the old bus AC before next summer as it gets pretty hard to drive longer journeys when it is as hot as it has been now.

We left Västerås on July 16th and drove to the city of Arvika. It was a very hot day. We parked the bus in the park in the city, set up our gear and I had to get inside the bus and sit in front of the AC for some time. It was boiling hot and I was about to give up as blond as I am I am pretty sensitive to heat.

They got us a parasol that I could play under and without that I would not have made it. We had a good time in the park. Many people of other religions were listening from a distance as well as other people. It seems like it is a little bit scary to come close up to us Christians. I totally understand them. I was like that before myself.

The second set in Arvika I had the sun straight in my eyes and it was hot. Again I was thinking about ending the set but God gave me strength to continue. The last song I just sang, I did not play guitar. We handed away some books and even if I personally thought it was way too hot it became a wonderful evening.

From Arvika we drove to Säffle where we parked at the campground we always park at while here. Thursday we had a day off and we got to meet some people to share the good news with here at the campground. Actually we had pretty deep discussions with people from Sweden as well as people from Germany. Glad I had some German books with me.

Friday we started our campaign here in Säffle together with the local Pentecostal Church. We started with doing outreach outside the ICA Kvantum supermarket. Did three sets and we met pretty many people this day as well.

Also here we saw people sit in their cars and listen or stand on a distance but we know that the words of God never returns void.

The same evening we had our first service in the local Pentecostal church and I did the ordinary set with rock and roll mixed with my testimony. It was another wonderful evening.

The following morning we were picked up and taken to a second hand store, Kvarnhjulet where we did a few sets of music and testimony. Nobody that were there while we were there can say they have not heard that Jesus is the only way to God and to eternal life. We made it very clear as there were many people with a totally different faith than us. It is our mission to bring the Gospel the every clan. That is the great commandment!

Saturday evening I announced that I will only do slow songs and play the songs from the ”Still Thankful” album in Swedish and I did. There is a story to every song and now I understand why I felt God wanted me to do this album with slow songs.

I found it very pleasant and blessed to do these songs. At the end of the evening in the last song it was like a wind of The Holy Spirit that filled the church. We were all in the presence of Jesus and the room was absolutely silent. Such a wonderful moment.

Sunday morning we ended our campaign here at their Sunday service. Brother Glenn shared words God had put on his heart to share and they were words of encouragement. The Pentecostal Church in Säffle has the heart of God and actually believes in going outside the four walls of the church as we did during our few days here.

I played some of the slow songs and again we got into a wonderful presence of Jesus and when we get into that you don’t have to say more than this is how real Jesus is.

Now we have a couple of days off here in Säffle and the weather is still hot. The location is right at the lake Vänern so it is very refreshing to go to the cliffs and have a swim in the lake. I have also done some walking but I am far away from 180 kilometers as last month.

This week we will continue with events in Molkom, Hagors, Sunnemo-Gräs and Runemo. Runemo is another home for us on the road like Säffle. THe other places are new for us and it is very exciting to see what God will do. We just want to serve Him and let all people know how real Jesus is.
