We are coming to the end!

4 June 2025

Dear friends,

Yes, this tour is getting close to its end and it sure has been one big and blessed adventure. We have seen things we never thought we would see with our own eyes. Our few days in Nurnberg we pretty much rested and walked. I have managed to do longer walks when I have the time to just go out there and it take the time it takes. Longest walk so far since 2023 was a beautiful day in Nurnberg when I walked 17 kilometers. Not far from my best ever (23 km in 2023). As I said before it feels good to get back in shape and I actually bought a pair of new jeans two sizes smaller and they are a bit too big.

On a walk in Nurnberg

While walking I have been doing lots of thinking and praying. One thing I have been pondering about is why I never felt urged to do an "altar call” on any event. I was studying and found out that the altar was inside the temple in the old testament and it was a place for sacrifice. With Jesus we got a new covenant and He became the ultimate sacrifice and WE who decided to follow Him became His temple.

I have searched in my Bible but never did I find Jesus say: - If you want to be saved raise your hand. He thought about praying being a private thing between ourselves and God and it should be done in private. I totally get it now. I still say that IF you decide to follow Jesus today, please come and tell me or preferably the people from the local church. We all need guidance in our new life. So now you know why I never make an altar call. I am not interested in number of how many came forward for prayer or how many received Jesus. I am more interested in how many got home or back in their jail cell and made up their mind to follow Jesus.

Dinner with brother Henoch in Nurnberg

We left Nurnberg, Thursday May 29th and drove down to Kempten. We saw the alps from a distance and it was such a beautiful area. We parked at the local church and next day we loaded in our gear and set up for our last church service on this tour.

We had a good crowd and people were listening. It was another evening where I could see where The Holy Spirit touched hearts. After the service we had many good talks with people and we showed our parrots to some young girls who wanted to see them.

Saturday was a day off and I decided to take the e-scooter downtown and park somewhere and walk. It was hot and after walking a while I sat down on a back street on a loading ramp behind some restaurants and drank some sparkling water. I continued my walk and after a while I realized I left my phone behind with all my cards including my drivers license behind. I rushed to the place where I had been sitting asking Jesus for help. I came there and the phone was gone. I went inside the tunnel to the restaurants who was in another tunnel and told the staff at one restaurant that I lost my phone. The man had a very good english so he could help me. We called my phone and a man answered. The man from the restaurant told him I was there and had lost my phone. The man speaking in my phone had found it and we set up a meeting where we could pick up the phone. The man from the restaurant walked with me all the way and I got my phone back. The lady at the restaurant where the man left the phone told me it was my lucky day. I told her that God did a miracle and wished her Gods blessings and thanked her for the help.

EFG Kempten

On Sunday I was picked up from the bus and taken the the prison in Kempten. We set up the gear and sat and fellowshipped with the team for a while before the prisoners came. I just felt that I need to break the ice as I could see an attitude here and there. I did my version of the old Creedence song ”Have you ever seen the rain” and the ice was broken.

For little bit over one hour I could talk hope of forgiveness and hope for the future for these men. I spoke about eternal life and made sure everybody understood that Jesus is the only way to God and eternal life. It was another wonderful time in a prison and the couple who went in with me had served there for 26 years. They said that they usually do not see the inmates sit so still and listen. To me that was a sign that Jesus was with us and that He kept them focused. The rock and roll He used to break the ice.

When we were done we loaded the bus and left Kempten for this time. We drove to Treppendorf and parked at our spot at Musikhaus Thomann. The following day we took care of some business and continued to Stadtsteinach where we are parked right now.

A smaller road in Germany

Yesterday brother Markus from Bamberg picked us up and took us out for dinner. We had a wonderful time. Also an emotional time. We had been in Germany for six weeks and this evening I had my first currywurst and it was delicious.

Now we are just waiting for Saturday and praying for good wether. We end this tour here at the Camping bistro on their pentecost party and it will be lots of rock and roll and of course I share parts of my life and sing my christian songs as well. It was very good last year when it happpened spontaneously.

Next week, June 10th we are boarding the ship from Travemunde to Helsinki and we are scheduled to arrive in Helsinki June 12th in the morning. From there we have six hours on the road and we are home after being away for two months. It has been such an adventure and the best missions tour ever in the history of our ministry. Thanks to Markus, Thomas and Marko who all have had very important parts of all this that started in 2012 in Forcheim.

Tour ending- and pentecost party Saturday June 7th

When we get home we are going to take three weeks off before it is time for our summer tour in Sweden. We are going to be on the road in Sweden for another two months and we still have open dates so do not hesitate to contact us for booking an event. This is just too good to be true but as I always say GOD IS GOOD!

God Bless You All!
