Dear friends,
We are now back at home after two wonderful months in The Netherlands and Germany. I can not compare missions tours but it feels like this is the best one during our 17 years of ministry. Before I had some weird feelings towards Germany. I guess it was the language and not so many people speak English. I felt it difficult to be in places where everybody else spoke in German and I was there alone and did not understand a thing. This has changed since we first started our ministry there in 2012. The young people are a new generation that are very happy to speak English and I have learned some German and can understand much better. I can even say short phrases in German and that has made them happy. I make sure that when ever I meet someone who tries to speak English I encourage them. I have told many this tour that their English is good. The language barrier is not so high anymore and for some reason Germany has a place in my heart.

We started in The Netherlands and met new brothers and sisters. I am surprised how much people came to the events. The tour started in the best possible way. After the frist service I had the grace to pray together with a person who deeply in his heart wanted to follow Jesus- I wrote earlier about altar calls and sinners prayers so I am not going to write too much about that right now but the truth is that you do not get saved after just repeating a prayer. Your heart needs to be in tune with every word and more and more I feel the importance to teach people more about Salvation and how it happens. It is nothing any man can do, only Jesus saves. God sees our hearts and know everything about us, so He also know when we really mean what we ask for in prayer. It is always such a joy in my heart when someone comes and tells me they want to follow Jesus and I feel they are really serious about it. We had it happen quite a few times this tour. Our motto is ”one soul at a time” and so it also works.

After our last event in The Netherlands we drove to Germany. We arrived late at night and following evening we had a fantastic evening in an old monastery in Marienmunster. Again we saw God move and touch peoples hearts. We continued to Treppendorf where we had lunch with Musikhaus Thomann CEO Hans Thomann. A friendly, nice and humble man who gave of his time to us. We continued to our home in Nurnberg at Knaus Campinpark and it was here I started to do more regular longer walks when we had some days off. I have to say that I feel good when I walk daily. During this journey I walked around 320 kilometers and I am glad I did. I met people on my walks and I had time to talk and listen to God.

From Nurnberg we continued to Leipzig. Our first time ever there. We had some problems with the new emission laws so we had to park a bit outside town but it all worked out well and the special was that the event was translated to both German and Russian. On our way from Leipzig we decided to go to the local Scania shop and replace a bad pipe for the power steering and I am glad we did it as it would have been disaster loosing power steering on the road. Just outside of Leipzig we visited our first prison, this one an open prison for young men. The evening was such a wonderful evening and hearts were touched and people made their decision to follow Jesus. We continue to Meuselwitz and Marienberg for two more events.

From Marienberg we drove to Zwickau and parked at brother Dieters property. We were parked there for quite a while and this is also where we had a gap of many days. First day when we arrived there brother Andreas who had been working on the dates together with Marko, who is holding in the bookings in Germany told us that two more prisons had opened their doors and also another place that worked with people with problems in life, drugs and alcohol. So the gaps where filled and the best thing was the response that came afterwards from one of the prisons. I red the letter that was sent to Marko from the prison with tears in my eyes.

We spent some more days off in Nurnberg and I did the longest walk since 2023 when I walked 17,3 kilometers in one day. I could feel it in my feet but every step is an investment in the rest of my days. We also met brother Henoch who took us out for dinner. He is also the dentist who blessed me with implants a couple of years back.

From Nurnberg we drove south to Kempten, near the border to Switzerland and Austria and we could see the beautiful alps from a distance. We had a good event at the local church but the highlight was going into the local prison.

From Kempten we drove back up to Treppendorf and Musikhaus Thomann for our second visit. They take such good care of us there. From there we continued to Stadtsteinach where we had a few days off before our last concert at the camping ground and their Pentecost party.

The evening started well and I played some rock and roll and shared parts of my testimony. I was just starting the second set when we got heavy rain and the power went out. The problem was in our equipment so now we have to go through all stuff and see so everything works.

From Stadtsteinach we drove to Travemunde where we stayed at a campground near the harbor for two nights and late Tuesday evening we boarded the ship from Travemunde, Germany to Helsinki, Finland. We slept a total of 57 nights in the bus and I missed my bus bed on the ship.

As said this was such a blessed journey and I already miss Germany. I look back at what I got to witness God do in peoples lives with tears in my eyes. I am so thankful.
July 6th we are leaving again and it is time for our summer tour in Sweden. The dates that are confirmed is up in the calendar. I decided to not try to call places or mail places anymore. I give up doing it in my own strength. We have lots of open dates in Sweden in August so I can’t wait to see how God is going to fill the gaps. At this age you can’t do more than four or five events a week. People might think it is easy to sit on a chair, talk and sing but it is actually harder than you can imagine if you never have done it. It is one thing just sitting and playing songs but when you involve the good news it is always a spiritual battle. I can be very tired after an evening so we are very thankful for our bus that gives us a home on the road and the privacy we need. We have updated the Gospel Express page so you can read more about the bus and see where it has been since we got it.
We wish you a blessed June
