I burnt the candle in both ends but...

It is Mat & Nostalgi who buy all the guitars, we pick them up and fix them. After all taxes and expense are paid our ministry gets parts of what is left over. For us this is a huge blessing as we do not have any other income. We are still in the beginning of this and we hope that it could become a foundation to stand on in the future. Honestly the financial situation is not good but God has taken care of us. More or less we live by faith and many times I feel like giving up but then it is always my wife who tells me that everything will be okay. She seems to have more faith and trust than I do.

Wednesday July 15th it was time for the Wednesday bbq and cruise inn evening at Mat & Nostalgi in Viksjö I played this evening and I was a bit nervous after having to leave the stage early in the second set on the car show a few days earlier because of my voice. We have to remember that I just came out of the hospital two days before we left home after having pneumonia.

The evening was fantastic and I did two long sets with music. Of course I shared my life story and the message about Jesus Christ, the only way to salvation and eternal life. We had a good time and many good talks with people afterwards.

During our days in Viksjö I got in contact with, I don’t know how many people in a natural way in the store and of course the discussions included sharing my life story or giving away my book to people. Actually it feels like people are listening more when you talk to them face to face and these precious moments happens all the time, every day.

We left Viksjö on Tuesday, July 21st and drove down to Runemo where we parked outside one of my favorite churches, Betel. A wonderful church with a heart of God. A heart of God is way more valuable than a heart of gold. Wonderful leadership and wonderful people. We got to stay there even if we did not do anything together this time.

On Thursday, July 23rd it was time for Summertime Cruisers American Car show in Öjeparken in Edsbyn. My brother Ulf Fahlström had arranged so I was responsible for fhe music this sunny day.

Soon the park was filled with mostly beautiful classic American cars and lots of people. The weather was perfect for an event like this and I did two sets of music. Of course I also shared parts of my life story and played songs with a message. Had good talks with people afterwards.

On Friday, July 24th we got the chance to be outside the building that used to be the Salvation Army. Right in the middle of the community Edsbyn I did a few sets of music and shared the good news about Jesus and that He is able to step in and do miracles when everybody else says it is over. That is what He did in my life and what we are doing to day is the calling He gave me when He came to my death bed soon 20 years ago.

Yesterday, Saturday July 25th we left Runemo and drove to Riddarhyttan where we are parked now until tomorrow. During our time here in Sweden me and Sebastian have continued to bicycle. We have a goal to do at least 10 kilometers (6,2 miles) per day. We have had some wonderful rides and it feels so good to get the pulse up and work on the condition.

I just have to look myself in the mirror and realize that I did this to myself. I burnt the candle in both ends and the flame was burning fast. Then it was over but Jesus came and said it is not over until I say it is over. The last 20 years have been nothing else than GRACE. I am thankful to God that I am alive and that I have my wonderful family. I want to take care of my health and exercise is a very good medicine. Every mile I paddle on the bike is an investment in my future.

As it is summer it feels good to do the bike rides later in the evening when it is not so hot. Then if there is a lake there is nothing like taking a refreshing swim before going to bed. I love life on the road and our bus is a huge blessing. We could not do this without the bus and we have our parrots with us. We park and we have everything we need.

Now we just found out that we need to change the air bags in the front of the bus. We already changed one in the rear end last year. There is always these things coming up with an old bus but soon we have changed most of the important things on the bus. According to the inspector who passed our bus through the yearly inspection we have a bus for many years to come.

Of course this will cost something and we need help. I am not a friend of begging for money as what we do we do for the sake of peoples salvation and transformed lives. As you might now we activated our channels on TikTok, Instagram and X again and we post stuff there that we don’t post elsewhere. Actually we have some kind of breakthrough on TikTok at the moment and it is all about sharing the love of God with the rest of the world. I might do videos in Swedish since we are in Sweden but there are updates also in English.
