Finally at home - February is here

1 February 2011
Dear friends,

Me and my son Sebastian are finally home in Finland. Even if it always feels good to get out on the roads there is nothing like coming home. Since I wrote last time LOTS of things have happened and all I can say is that GOD is good.

Wednesday, January 26th we visited the Visättra rehabilitation home and I had the privilege to give my testimony, sing and pray for people. It means much for me personally to be able to share about my life and about JESUS to those who lives a life as I used to do before I met my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The people were open minded and I was so happy and I thanked GOD for the line of people who came up to the prayer room to receive prayers. I believe we will hear testimonies about how GOD have been touching people and answered our prayers. Thats what it is all about! We want GOD to touch people and the biggest miracles of them all is when people get saved. Actually, Salvation is something so big that I can not put words for how big of a miracle it is in my mouth.

After our visit at Visättra we drove to the exhibition and dropped off some equipment and set up our stuff. We could not stay too long as we had another meeting in the Finnish Pentecostal Church, Finska Filadelfia in Stockholm the same night. If I remember right it was the third time I returned to this church and it felt like coming home. As I mentioned earlier I have many "homes" around the world and I do love my brothers and sisters. Brother Mika Lallukka opened up this meeting and it was time for me to get up on stage. I am such blessed to have a good brother and piano player, Olle Kuivalainen in Stockholm as he has the gift to play heavenly tones in the background while I speak. It changes the atmosphere and this night was completely different than other nights.

As I had visited this church before almost all of the people had heard my testimony about how I got saved, healed and delivered and so on. Tonight I was able to continue the life story about how good GOD is. I had lots of things to share about my meeting with my biological mother, sister Anja read the first letter I received from my blood sister and I shared some things about Christianity today that I feel being important. One of the things were about giving each other respect and how much we should respect the older generation. Another thing was that we should not go for anything else than the word of God. No "Angels of Joy" or other stuff that we cant find in the word of God. We ARE living in the end times and there are wolfs coming in sheep clothes and we really have to be aware of this.

I also felt God telling the church to not come forward and receive prayer from me. God took my back to my home church a couple of wednesdays ago when we all of a sudden laid hands on each other in the coffee table and I got healed from a bad inflammation in my hand. I feel that this is how GOD wants us to act. Pray for one another where ever we are and stop looking at those who stand in front of the church giving out the word of God. We have to realize that GOD will equip us with what EVER we need where EVER we are. If we see a sick man on the street we will receive the gift of healing and not the gift of prophesy. I have a feeling that we Christians seek the gifts of the Spirit more than we seek Jesus. This is not right as GOD is that big that HE can give us what EVER gift in the right situation. As Reinhard Bonnke said ones the gifts of the Spirit are not medals we keep on our suits. They are tools that GOD gives us when we ask for them WHEN we need them. Right here I just want to thank the pastor and the elders in Finska Filadelfia for having me back. I am already looking forward coming back.

On two wheels - Stockholm 2011

Two years ago, in january 2009 I attended the "On two wheels exhibition" in Stockholm, Sweden for the first time as an Ambassadors For Jesus Christ. This was also the first time our ministry were exposed in Sweden. Since then we have had a very fruitful relationship with leading Biker Church, Church on Wheels Europe and pastor Ulf Mannebäck. Now it was time to be at the exhibition again. Last year there were no exhibition but this year we were really loaded to go there and spread the word of God.

Church on Wheels Europe have since 2001 printed and given away around 60.000 Biker Bibles and now the new Biker Bible in Swedish is out and it goes under the name "Hojbibeln". We were all excited about being there and the first day went to find our right spot and get into the system. As there were many of the different Christian clubs and ministries we were enough people to serve. From day number one when the doors opened we had people at our booth checking out who we are and what we do. As GOD never forces Himself on anyone we did not want to stand there hitting people with the Bibles in their heads. Everyone who came took their own Bible and therefore they also made their own decision. I just think this is awesome.

What was new for this year was that I was sitting on my chair singing songs about Jesus and first of all I thought that I will never ever do anything like this again. After the first day I realized that the music had positive vibrations in the atmosphere and people stopped by and listened and checked us out. Many came in for a cup of coffee and many came in for a talk. I believe that nobody left our booth without getting something from God.

Of course it was hard work spiritually but every time I felt like giving up GOD told me that He was pleased with everything. He even opened up a door at another booth where I got the honor to both give a short testimony and sing some songs. It was definitely not a Christian department as they sold beer and the ladies were half naked. First I thought that it was a bad idea to enter that stage but then I thought about Jesus and where HE would go. Yes, Jesus would have been there on that stage speaking to the sinners, the drinkers and the 1% rs. I am so thankful for all those brothers and sisters being with me as I could never had done that on my own. I just want to thank JESUS for all of you who supported me during those 15 minutes. They were the hardest 15 minutes for a long time but I KNOW that chains were broken and that GOD touched people that we thought would be impossible to reach. Thank you JESUS!

During the days we spoke to hundreds of people and I just get one word for all that happened; VICTORY! On saturday night I was invited to sing a couple of songs at Finska Filadelfia at Pastor Reijo Tiainens surprise party. He will continue his work at another church soon and there is a new youth Pastor in Finska Filadelfia taking over after Reijo. I really like Reijo and my prayer is to have such a great relationship with the youth when I get up in that age. He is most likely the best youth pastor I ever met and it was a privilege for me to sing on his party.

On sunday we stood at the exhibition for the last day and I guess we were all tired but also very blessed. At 5 PM we broke down the exhibition for this year and we all left in different directions. A wonderful thing was also to be able to spend time with all the different brothers and sisters and get to know them better. For The Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry this was a real breakthrough. We got more exposure and our ministry is growing. GOD is opening new doors and we are really focused and positive about the future and all the upcoming events and happenings.

Goodbye Sweden

During our days in Stockholm we stayed at Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Europe, Branch Leader Jari Niemis home. Jari is such a wonderful brother and I do love him so much. It actually felt hard to leave him and his home monday noon but we all know that we will meet again. I am so thankful that God sent Jari in my way and actually we met the first time at the "On two wheels" exhibition in 2009. Thank you Jari for taking good care of me and Sebastian and thank you JESUS for this wonderful brother.

We were scheduled to leave Stockholm at 7:30 PM on the ferry to Turku, Finland but we received a phone call from our sister Lili-Ann Karppinen who is an on fire preacher. She were going on a ferry to Helsinki, Finland at 5:00 PM and I just thought; what the heck, lets go to Helsinki instead. Every time she have been in Finland I have been in Sweden and every time I have been in Sweden she have been in Finland. I feel really connected with her in the Spirit and we both have a similar past and we come from the same town, Vasa in Finland. The funny thing was that when I called her up when we came into downtown Stockholm I stood on the street to call her so we could hook up. I asked her where she were and she said she´s in a restaurant. Two minutes later we found out that I was standing outside that restaurant and that she could see me from the window.

We managed to change our tickets and they were so wonderful at Silja Line so they gave us a A-class cabin for the same price. We had a great time together with our sister Lili-Ann on board and we also had some real good food. This morning we came to Helsinki and it took us 5 hours to drive home to Vasa. Now we are finally home and I am so looking forward to take it easy for some days and relax together with Jesus and the word of God and my studies for a while.

Lots of things are coming up in the near future, but more of that later. Now it is time to take it easy!

Love Ya´ll!

Pontus
