Last week was another great week. I left home thursday in the afternoon but just a few blocks from my home another car drove out in front of me and I could not break fast enough so I crashed. I am glad nothing happened to any people but the front end of my car got damaged so I had to re-schedule my start until later the same night as I had to take my car to a garage and get a rental car for the time my car will be under work. It all went smooth and as it was not my fault the insurance will cover everything, including the rental car.
Thursday night I arrived at brother Juha Jyrkkäs home in Halsua and I spent some time together with him and his wife Anna-Kaisa. I had never visited them or this area of the country before, I was on new ground. I am thankful for these new people who opened up their home for me during the time spent there, we had a wonderful time.
Friday morning I had the privilege to visit to local school and I got to give my testimony to all the students. They listened and after the 45 minute lesson I asked how many of them believed in Jesus. Most of them raised their hands. This made my day. The same night we had a meeting at a retreat place by a lake organized by the local Pentecostal church. Another great night in Gods presence. Again I got to meet new brothers and sisters in Christ and best of all there were some unsaved souls as well that got to hear the good news about our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Four new members to the Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry
Saturday was a beautiful and sunny day. I drove the small icy roads from Halsua to Lapua and I had a great time on my own. So beautiful now when the sun is here. We need more light also outside. This night was a special night at Vapaaseurakunta in Lapua. Together with Evangelist and Ambassadors Jimmy Huhtala we held a meeting and the church was packed. Many unsaved people came and I started with singing "I have decided to follow Jesus" in finnish with all the four verses for the first time ever. I used to say that I will never sing in finnish but I guess it is something that comes with the age.
Brother Jimmy had a great message about when both Jesus and Peter walked on water and his sermon really spoke to me. Jesus told the disciples to go before Him and already then they knew that He was coming afterwards. Most likely they did not know how but the trusted in Him that He would show up. They got into a storm and Jesus came walking on the water thru the storm and the big waves. First they thought it was a ghost and Peter asked Him if it is really Him, He should ask Peter to come out there on the water. This happened and Peter walked on water. He started to look at the storm around him and took his look off Jesus and was sinking when he asked Jesus to help him. Jesus told him that he did not have much faith. What spoke to me was that the Bible does not say that Jesus helped Peter into the boat so this means that Peter walked even more on water. This is powerful! What was the difference between Jesus and Peter. Yes, Jesus was GOD and Peter was just a regular man. This means that WE have the same opportunity to walk on water. If Peter could do it we can do it to and here is a good message. The storm can be everything around us but still we can walk on the world of GOD and on HIS promises. I think we should believe more in the miraculous and trust the Lord in everything. Then we can walk through any storms and keep the peace and faith within us. I really liked that message!
This night we also welcomed four new members into the Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry; Juha Jyrkkä from Halsua, Tony Tommer from Pietarsaari and Veli-Matti and Johanna Koivisto from Lapua. After the meeting we went out to eat and we had a good time together and GOD spoke to me about all these new members. We all need each other and together we can make a difference. This is just the beginning of a new season. I am excited and waiting for may to come when our brothers from Texas are visiting us here in Finland. I am looking forward to show them my country!
More work in the studio
Monday we continued the recordings at Nordic Audio Lab Studios outside Vasa together with brother Martin Kantola. This time we also have another brother working with us in the studio and it is a great honor to have sound engineer Tim Stratton from The UK with us. He has a past as a live engineer and guess what? Yes, he have done the sound for Reinhard Bonnke and many others.
Today, tuesday we continued and it is great fun to have brother Jouni Uusimaa smashing the skins. So far we have five new songs recorded and I am excited about the coming "Thankful" album. It WILL be rockin´ but it will also be a bit different and there is some slow songs coming up as well. We are continuing the work this week and at the end of the week my longtime friend Mikko Rintanen is coming to play the keyboards. It will be good, I promise you! A good sound engineer, a great producer, great musicians and an awesome GOD. What can go wrong with those ingredients? Nothing!
Future stuff
In the near future I will be working on the album and study. I have some time off now but also lots of other work to take care of. More meetings are coming up in march and I will visit my sister, mother and grand mother in eastern Finland and it will all be featured for Finnish Television TV2 this fall. I have some meetings in some prisons and churches during the same trip and more coming up toward the end of march and april. More about that later.
Stay blessed!
Love Ya´ll!
