Now I am finally back home after spending the last two weeks together with some of the American Ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Our founder and leader Pastor Hollywood Joe Guebara came to Finland may 28th together with brothers; Victor Flores, Samuel Eby and Cele Monreal. Since the first day we have been busy being on the road for Jesus. Basically I wrote about what we did last time so I am not going to repeat myself too much.
From Hangö, Finland we drove towards Helsinki. On the way there we hooked up with brother Linus Mickelsson for a cup of coffee and fellowship at the "51" in Inkoo. It is always nice to meet brother Linus and I know the US brothers liked him a lot. We did a photoshoot for Linus webmagazine; mickelsson.net and headed towards the harbor in Helsinki were we found out that they had cancelled our booking as we had not paid it in advance. Sorry Mr. Viking Line but I called two days earlier and added the van to the booking and said that we pay in the harbor. We finally got onboard but we had to deal with two small cabins under the car deck. Had a hard time to sleep that night as there were not much air in the cabin but anyway I woke up in a good mood the following morning. I guess the big experience for our American brothers were the big Scancinavian smorgosbord buffet. I think we had too much to eat that night as we all went to bed immediately after we finished eating.
In Stockholm we first took a quick sightseeing tour around the castle and downtown Stockholm before we went to Södermalmskyrkan where we hooked up with our brothers Berth and Jari and sister Anja. It felt really blessed to be in Stockholm and hook up with our members there. Shame that all of them couldn't make it. We had some food together and we all had something to share with each other. This is something that I like when we get together like this. We should really encourage one another more and more as we ALL have so much to give. No one can do it alone, thats why we need to be united.
Another thing that I have been thinking about and especially being in a big city as Stockholm. There are lots of people and my thoughts goes to their hearts. Do they believe in God or not? Many seems to not care about God and their own eternity. It is our mission to let them know that there is a God and that there is a heaven. So many times I meet people who have met Christians who have told them straight that they will end up in hell if they don't accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior witch is totally true. What I have been thinking about is how many people have been upset about that statement and how many people have taken distance from God because of this kind of judgement. All I can do is to look at myself and my own life. After I got saved I did the same to people and I actually do understand why they get upset when I speak about heaven and especially hell. When I did not believe in God I did also not believe in heaven or hell. It is when you get to know God and His word and that it all is true when you also realize that there is a hell and that there is a heaven. I did not want to have anything to do with those Christians who spoke about hell and telling me that I was from the devil. It was when I had met Jesus and I started to read the Bible that I realized that it is true that I would have ended up in hell without Christ. I just think that we should stop preaching hell, demons and devils to the unsaved people as they wont believe anything we say unless they believe that the word of God is true. Therefore we should point on Jesus, His love and show them the manifest presence of God. When I person feel the love of God there is no turning back.
What I learned during these two weeks hanging out with our American brothers was lots of encouragement and how to encourage my brothers and sisters. This is what we should do when we get together. We should encourage one another to do what Jesus called us to do and to look at who we are in Christ. We are NOT dirty and as we are the temples of God. God can not live in a dirty house and what God cleans stay clean. Therefore we are righteous in Christ and will remain that way as we are ones washed clean by His blood. If someone tells you that you are dirty or that you have to do this and that to get saved just say: - Get behind me Satan! As those are words from the devil who tries to fool you. Just believe in the word of God and remember that you are clean.
During our day in Stockholm we also had time to visit Harley Davidson as of course our American guests wanted to get t-shirts with "Sweden" on. We had a wonderful day together with brother Jari, brother Berth and sister Anja and their son Matheuz and we were guided by our loved brother Janne Paavilainen from Heavens Bikers. We ended the day with a short visit at the Finish Embassy where brother Mika Lallukka welcomed us for a cold drink in the heat. From there we had to rush back to the ferry and soon we were on our way back to Finland.
I guess we were all tired after a long and wonderful day in Stockholm as I did not see much of the others during the cruise back to Helsinki. Perhaps because I was taking it easy in our cabin and catching up with some sleep. From Helsinki we drove out to Soltorp in Porvoo where we first stayed when the US brothers came. This was our last day and last night together as well as brother Celes birthday. We had a barbeque party outside at night and yesterday I took our brothers to an airport hotel in Helsinki as they were flying out very early this morning. It felt good to leave them there but also sad. I have been such blessed and highly favored to be around these brothers for these two weeks and I can easily say that I got something out of these days together. We have much to learn from the American mentality, especially as Christians. I already mentioned encouragement and when you show your love to one another you want to encourage. What I seen in these brothers lives is the love of God and I want to learn to love people like they do. I still have a long way to go but I really would like to carry that mentality and love of God with me where ever I go.
The Bible says that people shall get saved and start to believe by watching us Christians and how much we love each other. This is something I have felt during these two weeks and I know that people have been watching us and they have seen this. We should lay down all kinds of judgement and pointing fingers and start to love each other more and more for each day. I feel good when I am loved but feel better when I love the people around me. God is love and we are carriers of love. I think it is time for Christianity to show it. Amen!
Coming up
Finally some rest and quality time with my family. This coming week I am completely off and will spend most of the time at home. I have one Biker Church at Lapuan Vapaakirkko this sunday. My bike is ready so that will be a nice trip. The following week I am also off and I am looking forward to get something done on our house. Lots of things to do but I am glad that I am home for the next two weeks.
After that we are heading to Sweden on the bike and we will be at the Church on Wheels meet at Bjärka-Säby the first weekend of july. If you have a chance to come there you should come. It is not just a beautiful place and a great meeting. For the last two years we have felt a strong atmosphere of love there and we are so excited going back there this year. From there me and Pastor Ulf Mannebäck are going to be out on the road together and we have many stops on our way before we spend a weekend together with our brothers and sisters in Gospel Riders at their MOJ meeting in Larsmo July 8th -10th. We pray for good weather and I am sure we will get what we ask for. Thats the way God works.
