Last week from thursday to sunday we were in Galveston, Texas at the 10th anniversary Lonestar Rally and this event is just getting bigger and bigger from year to year. As it is getting bigger it is also getting more crazy and after being there for four days I have really seen that people need God.
Many of us have had bad things inside of us and when I speak about evil spirits and demons many people say to me that I must have lost my mind and that those things do not exist. Yes, they exist. I have seen young girls being possessed with demons and evil spirits and when these are manifesting they can have a voice of an old man. They can have supernatural strength and these spirits will only make sure you destroy yourself. They are out to steal, kill and destroy as the work for the devil. When we get saved and when we get delivered, healed and set free The Holy Spirit clean us up and chase away all these spirits and other things. When these are gone it is important, I mean very important that we fill ourselves with Jesus Himself, by reading the word, renewing our minds and by praying daily. It is when we stay close to the Lord HE will keep us from evil and protect us.
The Bible says that when one has left he will be back with seven others that are even more evil than the original one. In Luke 11:24-26 it is written like this:
You might say that this is nonsense and I understand that if you do not believe in Jesus Christ and the word of God it might sound like nonsense. I used to be the same way and I thought people speaking about spirits and demons were nuts. Today I know better. I know that what is written in the word of God is true and I know that Jesus IS real and HE is alive. A remember a friend of mine told me that there is no Jesus and I answered, thats strange, I just talked to Him.
During these four days at the rally we gave away over 1000 free cd:s with the message: Jesus Loves You, including four songs from the new "Thankful" album. We gave away thousands of tracts and we got to speak with and pray for people. God moved in the middle of that darkness and depression in Galveston, Texas and seeds were sown. Personally I am thankful for the opportunity to do this and I thank God for my brothers and sisters from The Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry. They are taking good care of me and I have been really blessed during these days. The days have been rough but in the spirit there is another truth and that is that Jesus already did everything for us and my prayer is that as many people as possible shall realize that Jesus IS real and accept Him into their lives. It feels bad to see people who are going to end up in hell just because they wont believe in Jesus Christ. The Gospel is made simple but man have made it too complicated. We really need to get back to the basics and move with the power of The Holy Spirit and most important of all is that we walk in love.
Yesterday after being out riding around Houston we went to downtown Houston to have church for the homeless people. We set up our gear and started with some music. I gave my testimony and said what The Holy Spirit told me to say. I could only relay to my own past and my life change. I was deep down in the horrible pit of destruction when the Lord lifted me up. I red the first verses of Psalms 40 at the church under the bridge last night and I want to put it here again as it is one of my favorite verses in the word of God as it is so right on also in my life.
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord."
Can you imagine that this also happened to me? A regular dude, a looser who did not do anything right and did everything to destroy his own life! God even gave me the title song "Thankful" and so many times when I play it God is showing up in a very mighty way. Many people have told me after meetings that they have seen angels and they have felt the wind of The Holy Spirit during that song and this is just a big encouragement to me. All the glory goes to God. I never wrote that song. I received it from God. Praise the Lord, He is good!
It is sad to see these homeless people and the children among them. They are all people with a soul and what more could I say to them that never give up on God. As I was down there and God did not only one miracle in my life He sure can do it for others as well. It is time to step out of the boat and walk on the water to reach those people who are lost. It is time for the church to open up the doors and look outside the four walls. It is time for us to open up our homes for those who have no home. It is time for us to feed those who are hungry and it is time to give those who are thirsty something to drink. It is about time that we Christians start to visit those who are ill and lay hands on them and just release God's healing power. It is time to go and visit those who are in prison and tell them that they can be forgiven and that Jesus loves them. IF we just do church and sing halleluja we might be departed one day when the Son returns. As HE will separate the sheep from the goats. I do not want to be a goat. It is all about doing what we can and we do it for Jesus. Thats what the Bible says in Matthew 25:31-44:
“But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. “All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’
“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ “Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
This is how we have to do, to show our love towards Jesus Christ by loving one another!
Mission America 2011 continues:
I have now been over here for one week and as you red we are not here on holidays. The only reason why I do this is because I love the Lord and I want to see people saved, healed, delivered and set free. I do not do this as a business. The best thing that can happen is to see Jesus move into a persons heart. That one soul is worth way more than all money in this world.
Tonight I will have the honor to give my testimony and speak at The Table In The Wilderness that is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation ministry of Family Church of Houston. They have a wonderful program where they help people get their stuff together and to start a new life. My Ambassadors brother Samuel Eby who have been setting up lots of these things for me here in Texas came through that program and today he is working there full time. This is how it works in the Kingdom of God. When we speak about money we use to say that when we give we will receive. This is also true but this just came to me right now when I am writing. It is the same thing with our lives. WE have to give OUR life to the Lord. What do we get? Yes, we get a new life that is eternal. Eternal means forever and means that even if we die we will be alive. We wont end up in hell or anything like that. All it takes is to believe in Jesus Christ and give your life to Him. He will respond and give you all this among lots of other blessings. You will have favor! I am looking forward to speak to these people tonight.
Tomorrow night, Wednesday November 9th I will return to Family Church of Houston. I spoke there last year and I got the privilege to be invited back. I have a strong feeling that this will be a wonderful night. Sister Teresa Sutherland who has been singing with me the last days is going to sing with me there and I have so much to tell the people. So much have happened in my life since last year that it is hard to believe. The meeting at Family Church is at 7PM.
Thursday we are heading north towards Seguin, Texas and Friday we are in San Antonio for a youth meeting. Saturday I will meet my old friend Dave Hlubek if we make it back to Houston in time. He is playing here with Molly Hatchet then and before Dave rejoined his old band we played together in a band called Skinny Molly. I always loved Dave and I have not seen him or talked to him since 2005. I have so much to tell him so my prayer is that this hook up will work out.
Sunday, November 13th The Ambassadors For Jesus Christ m/m is having Biker Church at Big Mikes Harley shop in Deer Park, Texas. I am so waiting for having a meeting and preach the Gospel in a Harley shop.
This is all for this time! I hope you all are having a good time. I am having a good time together with Jesus here in USA. The good thing is that Jesus can be together with you having a good time on the other side of the world while I am here having a good time with Him. Thats amazing! God is good!
Love you all!
