Since I returned from the USA I haven't had a chance to be at home with my family too much. I had a couple of days off before it was time to fly abroad again. This time I took a non stop flight from Vasa, Finland to Copenhagen, Denmark where I jumped on a train that took me to the small city Sölvesborg in southern Sweden. This was my fourth but not last visit here, I attended the Eastern Conference that was held at Folkkyrkan together with PTL-Ministries that is the ministries behind Pastor Tommy Lilja's work and the Bible school I am studying at for the second year in a row.
I feel this is one of these steps in my walk with the Lord that HE planned a long time ago. Thats what it feels like when you are living in the middle of something that is from GOD or living in HIS plan for your life. I have many things to be thankful for regarding my relationship with Pastor Tommy Lilja, PTL-Ministries and Folkkyrkan in Sölvesborg. All that is included in this connection is just one big miracle to and for me. Jesus is IN the boat!
The conference started at Wednesday night and it was Buck Hudson who was brining the message. I had never met Mr. Hudson before but I had heard many good things about him and all that I had heard has to be true as he is a mighty and humble man of God. In the "after meeting", Hudson brought me a word and a message from the Lord that was very encouraging and I am sure that Hudson never had heard about the opportunities and things that had been brought up to me these last weeks. He spoke about open doors and a place and I know those doors and Praise the Lord, I know that place. It is a motorcycle club house that is know to be a nest for drugs and criminality since way back in the days.
One year ago I received a message from The Lord about this place turning into a Christian Center and before I even met Buck Hudson this opportunity was given to me. Hudson saw a place that he could not turn into words but if I remember right he mentioned a "healing center". Thats exactly my vision, a healing center for men. Not only for alcoholics and drug addicts. A healing center for all kinds of men that are in need of inner healing, restoration and deliverance. There are also many men of God that need to calm down and be at a place like this, surrounded with other brothers and of course Jesus Christ will be the most important one in this scenario. Recourses will come said Hudson. The Lord also spoke to me through Hudson about doors that have been confusing and that The Lord will close these doors so that I can walk through those doors that are out there waiting. There is a need of resources but now I know that everything is in the hand of my Lord and Savior. In other words this weekend started in a very positive way for me personally and I could not keep the tears away and I wept thinking about how big my God really is.
The following day, Thursday Evangelist Johannes Amritzer was teaching about listening to The Holy Spirit and about the importance to obey what He says to us. Six lessons during the day and a powerful revival meeting at night. I was so full of the joy of the Lord when I walked back to the hotel so those who saw me walking by myself laughing must have thought that I was drunk. Yes, I was drunk but not from wine. I was filled with The Holy Spirit and I had a great time.
Friday morning Evangelist Hudson delivered another message and I could have spent hours to listen to this man of God. It felt good to have a couple of words with him after the meeting and to hear him speak about the mighty men of God we have in my home church. I needed to hear that and it encouraged me to realize that I am in that church because of a time that is to come. I believe that the time we are living in today is a time of preparation. On the other hand some words came out of my mouth the other day about that also ministered to myself. I said to someone that I don't even remember who it was that we are not longer living in the time when we say it is going to come. It HAS started and we have to be awake and listen to GOD, we have to listen carefully as IT HAS STARTED.
Friday afternoon Malin Svensson from the church here in Sölvesborg preached and I just love the passion and style this woman of God is preaching with. It was a simple message so all could understand how important it is to search God and His Kingdom first and all other things shall be added. Friday night I sang and played my guitar and Pastor Tommy Lilja held a powerful revival meeting when people got saved, healed and delivered. God was in the house.
Saturday started with a meeting with Desta Haregot and he continued where Pastor Tommy left it the night before. In the afternoon Pastor Ola Gustafsson brought the word of God and at night I got to experience a meeting with Evangelist Birger Skoglund for the first time ever in my life. He might look like an old Pentecostal brother but man was he on fire. The meeting ended up in people getting filled with The Holy Spirit and at the end of the night everyone was dancing, including me!
Yesterday the conference ended, I had the grace and honor to open the meeting with one of my songs and after some of the students from the Bible school graduated Pastor Tommy gave another powerful message. We had lunch together at church after the meeting as all these other days. I love this church and I love the people who comes here to these conferences. People come from different churches but I have not seen any finger pointing or something that should be without love down here. It is a place that is like a fountain, a fountain of God's love and the power of The Holy Spirit. Ones again I feel that I got something and I know I got something. Ones again I am built up for the coming times and I know that God is going to let me use what I got during these five wonderful days. I already received some thoughts from God this morning about our future, our youth. I believe we have to let them loose as IT HAS STARTED and it has to do with what I wrote about last week when I returned from USA; making disciples who makes disciples. We have to put our youth in leadership positions where THEY make leaders. May be not in our churches and congregations but in small groups, in cell- and home groups. They need responsibility and when we give them this they can live in the fact that they are totally depending on Jesus Christ. There is nothing no one, no youth no elder, nothing we can do in our own strength but in the power of Jesus Christ we can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Jesus Himself said that WE are going to do greater things than HE did. Bite on that one for a while! God IS awesome!
Now follows a time together with my loved family and I have some meetings booked before it is time to take off again. Until next take off that will be a road tour in Finland, Sweden and Germany during the summer I will spend as much time as possible together with my loved ones. In September we are returning to Spain and in November and early December it is time for another tour of the USA. Remember it HAS started!
