I have been a bit busy since I wrote to you last time and all I can say is that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I have seen this over and over again and as long as we continue to do His will, He will not only bless us, He will also bless other people through us. To be able to be a blessing to someone else is something that only God can do and it feels good. Sometimes it does not have to be big wonders or miracles, I am happy if I can get someone to laugh or if I can listen to someone who are in need of someone to talk to.
Last weekend I took off again and I have been on the road until late last night when I returned home. Sunday night I was invited to speak at a Crosspoint event at the church in Naantali, Finland. I was surprised about how many people came this wonderful night and so surprised about the Lutheran Church being so open minded and relaxed. I had the honor to speak to almost a full church including at least 50 teens who really needed to hear the good news about Jesus Christ. Ones again I made some new connections with some really wonderful brothers and sisters.
The following night I was invited to speak on the Christian Radio station, Radio Dei in Turku. For one hour me and Tommy Rusanen spoke about this and that and the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. I have to admit that right then my heart was a bit "upset" and I shot straight during the radio show. Of course I mostly spoke about the wonderful wonders and miracles that Jesus has done in my life and about what He is doing. What I was upset about was why we Christians can be in unity. I see it over and over again where Christians try to lift themselves up and basically they think they are better or more "anointed" than others. What they do is to pull down others and even call other Christans for "snakes" witch is horrible.
I have a hard time to believe that it is God's will to act in a way like that. Also all kind of manifestations and shakes are not always from God or are not always a "good thing". The manifestations of the Spirit are mentioned in the Bible but everything else are our human reactions or in some cases even theater. Who are they trying to fool? God? No, there is NO way to fool God as HE is everywhere and HE can see everything. So one more time I have to bring this up. Do not believe in those who force you to speak in tongues if it does not come. There is nothing in the Bible that says that you have to speak in tongues or nothing in the Bible that says that you have to try to repeat after someone who is (or thinking he is) speaking in tongues. Be yourself! I had a great time in the studio and again I met connections and eternal friendship with wonderful people I never met before. It is one thing to respect other Christians even if they don't do as you do or even if the don't act like you do but to pull them down sending them straight to hell and to speak in terms that "most of the Christians" are on their way to hell is nothing else than foolish. I really think some people should look themselves in the mirror and ask God to set them free from what ever is binding them to bitterness and hate. Love is the most important thing and we can never manipulate God's love or the power of Jesus.
On tuesday I was invited to speak at a Gospel Riders Biker Church event at Vapaaseurakunta in Raisio and lots of bikers showed up and again God connected his people in a wonderful way. I spoke and sang as I usually do and I did not watch the time. Time flew and the evening was wonderful and people from different denominations came and managed to stay in unity and have a good time. I just felt that God really enjoyed what took place that night. I had some wonderful days down south and now the summer finally is here.
This coming Sunday I will be speaking at Solf Missionshus, outside Vasa. After that we are entering the studio again. This time a worship record together with Teresa Sutherland from Texas and brother Martin Kantola. After that it is time for our Ambassadors Biker Rally at Orisberg and one night at Frank Mangs Center in Närpes before we head to Sweden for three weeks.
For the fourth year in a row we are attending the Church on Wheels meet at Bjärka-Säby. We will visit the finnish pentecostal church in Västerås, Sweden and we will be on the Power Meet in Västerås preaching the gospel. I am also honored with an invitation to MC- Park Only in Skara, Sweden July 14th. Now we are also going to be in Gothenburg, Sweden between Västerås and Skara. Friday July 13th we are going to rock the boat together with The Betels at Betelskeppet again. This is what I had on my mind and on my heart tonight. I just want to encourage all of you to be who you are in Christ. There are enough copies of copies in our churches and we need more originals. YOU are an original and take that with you.
