Fish'n Chips & Holy Spirit Fire

Right now I am sitting on a plane from Copenhagen, Denmark on my way home to Vasa, Finland. This last week I have been at Reinhard Bonnke's school of evangelism and that was something that makes me feel happy, blessed and highly favored.

The night before I left I celebrated six years at my church. January 3rd it was exactly six years since I entered that door for the first time ever and back then I did not know that that night was going to change the rest of my life. Because of Christianity being what it has been for a long time with condemnation, strife and division I was not interested in going to church at all. I had only one reason to go there and that was because I was desperate, I was dying. That night blew away my own imaginations of true Christianity and church. Instead of being condemned I felt the love of God for the first time in my life. Instead of pointing fingers at me the people laid hands on me and prayed in Jesus name. Back then I did not know anything about the power in the name of Jesus. That night was also the last night I had alcohol. Before, I had been doing nothing else than drinking and that was the reason why I was dying.

Now six years later I walked in through that very same door with one word in my heart: thankful. Yes, I am thankful for that my old friend dragged me there that night and I am thankful for my church. Most of all I am thankful for the second chance I got in life and for all the wonderful things JESUS has done in my life. It was a holy moment for me to sing "How great thou art" together with the church choir, to tell the almost packed church about that very first night I walked into that church. That was not all I had to say that night, I had something else to share on my heart as well. You who have read my updates on Facebook or what I have written here before know what God has putted on my heart lately, unity in the body of Christ. I spoke about that and I have a strong feeling that I delivered a quite important message to the saints, not only that. I also wanted to give hope to those who came who do not yet know our Lord Jesus Christ about that there are good churches, there are good Christians. We have to stop thinking about denominations, God never created denominations, He created children who are supposed to be disciples. As Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke said this week, to be a disciple has nothing to do with discipline, it has to do with learning. I thank God for having some wonderful teachers in my life such as Mats Björkman, my Pastor, Evangelist Olle Rosenqvist, Pastor Tommy Lilja and now Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. Not to forget my spiritual mothers and fathers who have guided me through my walk with the Lord these six years.

That night I also had the great honor to sing and play my songs. Sven & Lise Rönnlund and Camilla Cederholm sang some songs too and we were in a mighty presence of God that night. What touched my heart most was the testimony from a woman who had received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior before I left for America in October. To hear a person tell that Jesus immediately turned on the light when she asked Him to move into her heart is powerful. I won't go into any details, I know she will tell you all about how it all worked out one day. I believe she has a gift and God is calling her to something way bigger that she ever could have imagined. Yes, Jesus saves and He does not only save. He restores and he changes lives. He is the same yesterday, today and forever and as we let that sink into our hearts we are also going to walk in the same power as Jesus did. Jesus Himself said that WE are going to do even greater things than Him, and all that will happen in His mighty name. Amen!

Kurt-Erik Nordin from Frank Mangs Center had a wonderful speak as well and I am so thankful for both him and Frank Mangs Center. I am glad that he was honest and told straight that these five years he have had to do with me has not been easy. He have had way easier employees and looking at it financially he has never ever done anything this uncommercial (bad business) before, even if he runs a big company since many many years. The main thing is what is behind it all; JESUS! People need to realize that evangelism costs money and when JESUS says GO we have to GO. We need someone to send us out as well and equip us for the field. Without the support from Frank Mangs Center these last five years I would never have been able to do what has been done and I would not be where I am today. This makes me humble, it has absolutely nothing to do with me, not with Frank Mangs Center, it has all to do with JESUS who has told them to send me out to do the work for our Lord Jesus Christ and I gladly share with my supporters about every single soul that gets saved and about every single seed that is planted. They are all partners in crime. When I say crime I mean we are bad criminals in the eyes of the devil and what ever we destroy for him we win for Jesus and it is all called teamwork. Again, here it is very important that we are united in Christ and that we are His body and we remember that He is the head.

The day after the celebrations two wonderful friends took me to Tampere from where I flew to London, England. Everything went smooth and Monday morning was the kick off for the school of evangelism. I do not know how many had applied for the school but only a handful according to the applications were picked out by Reinhard Bonnke himself, lead by The Holy Spirit. We were around 200 hungry students who wanted to get more wisdom and more of Jesus.

During the days there were not only teachings from the word of God. It was also practical teachings about how to reach the lost and about crusade and event organizing. For four days, early in the morning to late in the afternoon we received from the speakers that also were handpicked by Reverend Bonnke. One of them was his long time right hand Peter van der Berg, the new Cfan President, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda and as a special treat, Todd White who is known world wide for going out on the streets praying for the sick seeing signs, wonders and miracles every single day.

Reinhard Bonnke really inspires me. First I thought that he might open up the school and have the other teachers teach and then do one or two nights. No, his purpose for this school was to raise up evangelist for this and the coming generation and he was with us most of the time. I highly respect his presence and that he took so much time to give away of himself and share his wisdom about evangelism and soul reaching.

It was not only the sessions and the worship that was wonderful, it was wonderful to connect with all these other evangelists and share experiences. Again I got to meet people I never will forget. We are on the way to the same destination; heaven.

All days we were not only in an atmosphere, we were in a powerful presence of The Holy Spirit and we got equipped with a toolbox from heaven. Tools to use in our ministry. This school in London was also very special to Reinhard Bonnke. It was here, out of the same platform he got laid hands on by one of Englands greatest Evangelists George Jeffreys. That was before Bonnke started his ministry that today has lead nearly 100 million people to the Lord. Last night was the last night of the school and the evening session ended with an impartation where Evangelists Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda laid hands on all of us. I received by faith and I know that this week has changed my life and my destiny.

Reinhard Bonnke has been faithful and obedient to his calling. God called him to Africa and thats where he has done most of his works. When thinking about being faithful to my calling and doing what Jesus Christ told me to do in February 2007 when He visited on my death bed I now can see it all clear. Jesus words to me where: "When you get out of this bed, go out and tell all the people about me and about your life. Tell the young people about the dangers and help those who have same problems as you have had!" That is the order as well, what is most important and what Jesus called me to do, so let me explain how it works out:

This is the most important part of the ministry, it is NOT about ME it is about HIM. To describe this in a few words is simple. It means: go out and preach the ABC of the Gospel, a message about salvation to all the people.

There is only one reason why I am alive and that is because Jesus did miracles in my life. Without Him I would be dead. Before I met Jesus people told me about what Jesus had done in their lives and it really had an impact on me. The one who made the biggest impact on me was Pastor Mika Halkola who had been healed on his death bed. His testimony gave me a mustard seed of faith and that had an impact on me. Thats why I have to tell all the people about my life and especially from where Jesus saved me! Amen!

I was too young when I started drinking alcohol and looking at the world and the youth today makes me concerned. There are drugs, alcohol and criminality, not to forget to speak about the occult out there. These things are invented by the devil to destroy people at a younger age than before. I have watched it happen very close. This is why I have a passion to speak for the youth so I can warn them and tell them about the dangers and about what happened to me. Not only that, I can tell them about Jesus Christ as well and HE is the most important thing I can speak about. I get many invitations when people want me to come to the schools and tell about the dangers. I ask them if I can speak about what brought me up from that horrible pit of destruction as well, Jesus and if they say NO, I also say NO! It has to be the whole enchilada, everything or nothing.

This just blows my mind away and I realize that I will never be without something to do. I have had so many problems that I can't even count them so this will be something that I have to let The Holy Spirit lead me to do. The best help I can give them is to lay hands on them and pray in Jesus name and believe with all my heart and all my soul that what ever they need, God will give them!

Basically my calling is simple and it has all to do with what Jesus told the disciples. Go out to all the world and preach the Gospel to all nations. Heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead….

My time in London was great and one more thing I have to share with you. I usually do not eat fish but I found the best Fish'n Chips restaurant I ever visited so I had fish twice a day for five days. They say fish is healthy. Not only that, I became good friends with the people working there and of course I told them about Jesus Christ and about what He has done in my life. Last night I had the last supper there and they said: the fish is on the house. I can highly recommend The Fish House of Notting Hill if you ever go to London.

This morning we had communion together and it was another holy moment. At noon it was all over and I got to have a talk with Todd White before I jumped into one of London's 25000 taxis that took me to the Heathrow airport. A wonderful week that really did change not only my life but also my future.

Next week me and my son Sebastian are heading to Sweden. January 18th I am sharing at Pingstkyrkan in Västerås. Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th I will be at Betel Live in Tärnsjö and do the same thing. Before that I will be at Vörå Frikyrkoförsamling and that is this coming Sunday at 4 PM. The main reason for our trip to Sweden is not to preach to the choir. We are going to evangelize at the Stockholm Motorcycle Exhibition for four days and on Saturday night we have an open event at Finska Filadelfia in Stockholm. Looking forward to get out there to release and give out what I have received. I freely received and I freely give.

I just want to end this update with thanking ALL of you who are reading my updates as well as my church, Frank Mangs Center and all who came to the six years anniversary and most of all Reverend Reinhard Bonnke for the privilege to attend his school of evangelism this week.
