Greetings from Värnamo, Sweden. Me and my son, Sebastian have now been in Sweden for three days and two meetings so far. Actually everything started the night before we left and it happened in our church, Kvevlax Missionskyrka. It was one of those wonderful Wednesday nights when we are assembled worshiping Jesus when a sister in the Lord all of the sudden took me and Sebastian aside together with my Pastor Maz. She was filled with the Holy Spirit and she started to speak in tongues and delivered a message that really encouraged me. The most important things she said were:
"You are going to meet people in need and you do not have to search for them, the will be placed in front of you. You will set them free in Jesus name and they are more than you could have expected. You are going to be protected and God is with you, do not fear."
I got filled up myself and with these words from God we left early Thursday morning to catch the ferry from Turku, Finland to Stockholm, Sweden. From there we drove to Karlskoga, Sweden where we stayed over night. Our first meeting during this trip was Friday night at the Baptist Church of Karlskoga. It was a wonderful start of this mission tour and we saw people receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as well as many responded to come up and receive prayers.
Last night I had the privilege to speak and sing at a LP meeting here in Värnamo. The LP ministry was founded in 1959 and this was on Lewi Pethrus, who was one of the bigger names in Swedish Pentecostal history. He even hosted some meetings with Smith Wigglesworth back in the day. When Lewi Pethrus turned 70 a fund raiser was started to start of the foundation of the LP Ministry and their focus has since been to take care and help people with alcohol- and drug related problems and all I can say is that they are doing a wonderful work. So many lives has been changed and so many people have been set free and most of them have been saved.
Last night was powerful. The Alliance Church in Värnamo was packed with LP people from different directions as well as other people and I could feel that we stepped into the words that were spoken the night before we left. People were placed before us and they were in desperate need. Some people received Jesus into their lives and some came up for prayers and God did some wonderful things last night.
With this short greeting I just wanted to share what we are in right now, and kindly ask you to remember us in your prayers. We have two more weeks in Sweden (the dates are in the calendar) and it feels like a new season has begun. I have more or less been still since I returned from the US, December 4th last year but now I feel I can breathe again. This is my hearts desire; to go out and tell people about Jesus Christ, even if my mind not can get it right all the time.
