It is now 16 days since we left home for this wonderful adventure in Sweden we have been on. Last time I wrote we had just started our missions trip here in Sweden and I wrote about the prophetic words that had been proclaimed and that we had a very powerful start with meetings in Karlskoga and Värnamo. We did one more meeting at the Pentecostal church in Värnamo on their Sunday service and it was an awesome day and we had a good time. The same night we drove to Jönköping where we hooked up with Pastor Ulf Mannebäck from Church on Wheels and Michael Walter who was visiting from Minnesota, USA. We had a nice meal and a great time of fellowship together.
From Jönköping we drove to Gothenburg where we checked in at Brother Jukka Mäkikangas house. Jukka is a wonderful Brother that I met the first time in 2010. For 20 years he have served the Lord by running a ministry called Betelskeppet. It is a ship that is a homeless shelter for homeless people and for people with alcohol- and drug related problems. A while ago Jukka decided to move forward and left the ship and started a new ministry called "Mission Göteborg". We were there to work together with Jukka and Mission Göteborg for the next four days.
Tuesday we spent some time in a bus that is called the "Hallelujah bus". It is a warm bus that parks outside a mall and shopping center. There people are welcome to come in and have a cup of coffee or tea and something to eat. Most of the people who come there are poor people that are nothing in the eyes of the world, but so precious to Jesus. We had a great time in the bus ministering in the word of God and music.
When we were done in the bus we drove to a suburb of Gothenburg to the Church of Sweden where they had food and food delivery for foreigners. Most of the people muslims or with muslim backgrounds. I got to sing and share for them and it was a very special moment.
Wednesday we drove to another town, Uddevalla. There we visited another place that serves food for the poor and we had an afternoon service there where Jukka and I shared about what Jesus has done in our lives and the message of salvation. Many people came by and listened and it was actually here I felt a shift in the atmosphere. The presence of Jesus became stronger and it has been like that since that day.
Thursday we had a planning meeting with some brothers in Kungälv, outside Gothenburg for a summer event this coming summer and Friday we had our final meeting at International Full Gospel Church in Gothenburg. It was an amazing end of the days in Gothenburg and we even had time to shoot two TV programs, one for Life in Him and On The Road and one for the Open Channel in Gothenburg.
Saturday morning we left Gothenburg and drove to Säffle. There we had a meeting in the local Pentecostal church at night and the church was almost packed. Jesus showed up with His presence again and people got touched by Jesus. It was another wonderful night in Sweden.
From Säffle we drove to Tibro for a Sunday night service at the local Pentecostal church and it was not only a wonderful night but also a powerful night. The following day we sang in the shopping center in Tibro and invited people to come for Monday nights meeting at the same church. It was awesome to see people we had met during the day come at night and we entered into another great night.
Tuesday night we drove to Skövde, another Swedish town. There we had a meeting in the Pentecostal Church that was hosted by the LP ministry. Many of the meetings this trip have had connections to LP and I am very thankful for this connection. As I mentioned before, LP is a ministry who does work with people who are having alcohol- & drug related problems.
Wednesday we attended a Pastors day at Prismahuset in Tibro and there were two sessions. One open for the public where I shared my life story with music and the other session only for the Pastors from this area of Sweden. Afterwards we prayed together with the Pastors and had lunch.
Thursday night, tonight was the last meeting on this trip. We drove to Skara, about 45 minutes from where we have stayed since Sunday. It was a wonderful meeting and a great ending of this tour. Jesus was present and people received Jesus into their lives and they wanted to follow Him as well as many came up for prayers. Tomorrow we are heading towards Stockholm where we will be at a brothers place until Sunday when we take the ship back to Finland. We are going to spend two days in Helsinki to talk with the TV stations about the future and the TV productions we are working on. After that I have two weeks at home.
Ethiopia and USA
Next trip abroad is coming up February 26th when I travel with Pastor Tommy Lilja on another PTL Crusade in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. After that I will be home only for three days before it is time for next trip to USA and Florida for Daytona Bike Week 2014. More about that later. Rest of the year will be busy and what more can I say that I am thankful to be able to do what I am doing today. It is all about Jesus and there is power in the name of Jesus!
