Back, back in Germany

29 April 2014
Dear friends,

We have now been in Germany since we got here. That sounds very logical to me. Last time I wrote we were about to leave Sweden and we were on our way to Trelleborg where I was going to meet my cousin Magnus who I had not met since December 1995 in London, UK. It was a wonderful time and it felt like it was yesterday we met even if it had been almost 20 years since we met. We talked about some old good memories but also about life and what it can be if you mess up like I did but again, God took my mess and made it to a message. The same night we took a ferry from Trelleborg, Sweden to Rostock, Germany and arrived there very early the following morning.

We drove down to Wetzlar where we checked in at our first location for our days in Germany. We took it easy at the hotel that night after not sleeping to well on the ferry and after driving 650 kilometers that day.

The following day we were picked up by Brother Claas from ERF TV and he took us to the ERF TV studio where we filmed the first sessions in the studio, followed by an interview. From there we went to an old cathedral in the heart of Wetzlar and it is mind blowing that parts of that building is from the 800's. We continued the filming there and I also sang a couple of songs in there. The acoustic was amazing. I have to say that I am very proud of my son, Sebastian who also was featured in these TV programs. It was the first time he opened up and talked in public about who I used to be before Christ and who I am today. God is really moving right now.

Thursday we had a day off and Brother Markus Hämmer came and picked us up in the late afternoon. When we were about to leave we met a new brother in the parking lot and this was one of the most powerful divine appointments I ever experienced. It was such a pleasure to meet Brother Michael Beyerlein and his wife. They joined us for dinner as well as Brother Claas from ERF TV and we had a wonderful night together.

Friday morning we continued the work with ERF TV and we filmed two episodes on a talk show that is going to be aired this summer. It was all professionally made and the crew were all nice and we had a great time. After we were done there we drove down to Kemmern, outside Bamberg where we have our base during our stay here in Germany and the same night we visited Dreamers of Freedom MC and their clubhouse in Weiden, Germany. I sang some of my own songs mixed with some secular stuff as it was one of them places where it is no idea going 100% "hallelujah". After we were done the people had said that they liked the music and what was said between the songs and I know that The Holy Spirit planted some seeds that night. Late at night we drove back to our apartment in Kemmern and I did not have any bigger issues finding sleep that night. It had been a long day.

Saturday morning we drove to the town Kulmbach as it was time for their yearly Bike Rally. We were located with the Holy Riders MC Germany and I sang and shared outside their tent. We also met some of our Ambassadors Brothers here from Germany and we had a wonderful day until it started to rain in the afternoon. From Kulmbach we drove to Stuttgart to be there for three services at ICF church the following day.

To be honest I was a bit tired but the first service was very good and it was a great thing that we could have our hotel room, near the church until 3PM so I could get a short nap between the first and the two other meetings. The second meeting was an international meeting in english and it went well as well and the third one was packed and Brother Markus translated me to german as I do not speak or understand German at all. They had said that it would be good if the time of the sermon was going to be around 27 minutes and I knew right away when I heard that, that it will be longer. I went for 65 minutes but it was ok as we entered into a powerful presence of Jesus. It was a really touching night and I hope to visit this church in the future. It was a living church and they were on fire. If all churches would be like ICF I think Germany would soon be a different country as the old religious spirits would have to flee.

Now we have had two well deserved days off and our car is in the garage (again). The tires we got in Finland was basically nothing to have but praise God that we got four almost brand new ones for free. Brother Markus was more than happy to get them out of his garage. We took the car to a place where they put the new tires under and paid for the work and took it to another garage where they are working on the brakes right now as we have a good driver during our dates in Germany and he also has a Volvo, so we are really comfortable and Brother Markus is taking very good care of us. All kind of stuff comes unexpected and every time you have to do something on the car it cost money. I thank God for my parents helping me out with lots of the expenses before we left but we have had issues along the road as well, so soon we most likely have replaced all parts in the car :) Well, it is better to have it in good condition as we still have thousands of kilometers to drive.

I should not forget to mention that we visited the biggest music store in Europe, if not in the whole world yesterday, Music Haus Thomann. I get really impressed every time I visit that place, how someone have managed to make successful business. We also met Robin who works there. We got to know him last year when we visited the same place. I had a problem with one of my guitars this time. It was the input jack that had escaped inside the guitar and they helped us fixing it and they did it for free, so thank you Robin and Thomann for your help.

We have nine more events here in Germany before we head to Poland to pick up Michael Bull Roberts and next tour, the MEN OF HOPE tour starts. We have not reached our budget and we are still taking donations towards our expenses for this trip that will bring hope to many people in hopeless situations. Please stand in agreement with us in your prayers and pray for us. We are starting of in one of the darkest places in the world when we enter the gas chambers in Auswitch, Poland. From there we continue to Salzburg, Austria for two days before we head back to Finland.

So far so good and I am blessed and thankful to be able to share my life at these different places. As I said earlier, God took my mess and made it to a message. All the glory to God.

Stay Blessed!
Love you All!

Pontus
