Men of Hope - Part 4

18 June 2014
Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

Last time I wrote we were on our way to Germany after several wonderful meetings in Sweden. We took the over night ferry from Gothenburg to Kiel and arrived last week Tuesday. From Kiel we drove to our hotel in Hamburg and the same night we had our first Men of Hope meeting in Germany. This was a very special night. We were hosted by the Salvation Army located in the famous St. Pauli, just a few meters from Reeperbahn. The area is well known for legal prostitution, drugs and misery as well as their too many night and porn clubs.

First I did not know what to expect but when we got there I realized that this place is prepared for the night. The people had been praying and were in the right spirit and mood for the night. Before the meeting we walked a few meters to Reeperbahn and handed out invitations on testified a little bit about what was going to take place at the Salvation Army hall that night. It was a late meeting as it started at 10PM and we were done around 1AM in the morning. The people were happy as it was a new thing for them to do and many people came in from the streets and they got to hear two testimonies about how Jesus can change a life.

The following morning I sang and shared a little bit at the Salvation Army homeless shelter, Jakob Junker Haus in Hamburg. After we were done there we drove to the next city for our next meeting. Now it was time to visit FeG Church in Göttingen. Also here it was a "special event" as they usually don't have meetings on Wednesdays, but lots of people came and for over three hours they sat and listened to our testimonies, music and the word of God. It was a great atmosphere in this place and the church took really good care of us.

On Thursday we drove from Göttingen to Koblenz. There we checked in at another hotel and prepared ourselves for another meeting at a social network church. It was a small place but it was packed. I guess it is easier to pack a small place. Another good night and people were touched by the amazing stories about Gods love and grace.

From Koblenz we drove to Wiehl where we had a great night at Christus Fur Alle. A great church and another long meeting. Met some wonderful people and a gourmet restaurant opened up for us in the middle of the night. God is good!

From Wiehl we drove south and we had one day off in Heidelberg. On Sunday we had morning service at Church at the River in the same city and even if the meeting started as early as at 11AM we were not out there before around 3PM. It was a great time and the people also prayed over us and delivered some prophetic words. Felt encouraging and we had a great time.

From Heidelberg we drove to Bamberg where we stopped at Brother Markus house for a cup of coffee before we continued to Chemnitz in former Eastern Germany. This was the second time I visited Chemnitz during a short time. To me it was two tours coming together as one long tour. The last meeting was at a methodist church in Chemnitz and it was organized by our Brother Michael Beyerlein from The Brucke Ministries. It is just an amazing story how I got to meet this brother and what he has meant for us since. It was when me and Sebastian arrived in Germany in April we met him at a hotel parking lot. The same night we had supper together and when Michael Roberts arrived he drove together with his wife all the way to Auschwitz to be there for Michael as they both have the same background and I thank God that he was there with us.

The last meeting was the perfect way to end the tour. The church was packed on a Monday night when Germany were playing soccer world championships. Another long meeting but this night we saw a young boy give his life to Christ. IF this boy is the only one who got saved during these days in Germany it was worth it all. I still believe that many seeds have been planted and people have receive true hope, the hope that is in Christ Jesus.

Yesterday we left Chemnitz and drove to Poznan, Poland where we spent the last night together with Brother Michael, it was day 39 on our tour. Today was the last day, day 40 and we drove from Poznan to Warsaw and we left Michael at the airport. He is now on his way home, somewhere over the Atlantic ocean and we are at a hotel here in Warsaw. It is soon midnight and tomorrow we are driving to Gdansk from where we take the ferry to Nynäshamn, Sweden. We arrive in Nynäshamn, Friday afternoon and Friday night we take another ferry from Stockholm, Sweden to Turku, Finland. We plan to be home in Vasa around noon on Saturday.

When we get home we have been away since April 15th. During this time we only slept 7 nights in our own beds while we spent some days in Vasa. When we get home it is time to take a break and be together with my family. I will be home for at least three weeks before we leave for our next tour to Sweden. After Sweden there are many things coming up. We plan a crusade in Northern India and the Himalayas in August and in September I will travel with Pastor Tommy to Malawi, Africa as well as return to Germany for a week or two with focus on the former DDR area. That is a big mission field that God has put on my heart and the doors are opening. Keep praying for us, we are going through some major changes in our ministry structure and from the fall we are going to need more committed partners who can partner with us on a monthly basis. As I said, new doors are opening and I am ready to go through them but there is a price to pay to reach the lost and this is something we do and stand in together.

God Bless!
Greetings from Warsaw, Poland!

The purpose of PJB ministries is to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ by taking the message of salvation to all peoples of the world. PJB Ministries is taking the Gospel about Jesus Christ to the needy people. PJB Ministries works with the outcast, the people who are nothing worth in the eyes of the world but precious in the eyes of God!

In addition, the ministry seeks to actively inspire and equip the body of Christ for evangelism through meetings at churches, conferences and through the Life in Him world wide TV program with true life stories and testimonies!

Frank Mangs Center who is a big part of our work have opened up a new account for this ministry and we are now looking for people who would like to partner with us monthly. At least I would ask you all to pray for our work and for the harvest of 2014. You can read more about being a partner in finnish or swedish by clickingHERE.

You can also do a direct donation to PJB-Ministries by bank transfer with the following information:

Aktia Savingsbank,Palosaarentie 88, 65200 Vasa, Finland

To walk through these open doors we need YOUR help! First of all we would like to ask you to pray for our missions that we really will get to sow the seeds but also that we will see a harvest.

To walk through these open doors we also need funds and by partnering with us YOU can be part of the work we do for the Kingdom of God. We are now entering into a new year. Last year was successful and I had the honor and privilege to do 150 different meetings / attendances in seven different countries. I have high expectations for 2014 but we need your help. Together we can make a difference!
