New Challenges

Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

Now we have been home for one week after we returned from Sweden and lots of things have happened this last week. First of all I got the grace to turn 42 years, August 14th. It is all grace as my life came to an end in February 2007 at the age of 34.

All these years after that is just grace and I am living in my second chance. Therefore I have also made some major personal decisions in my life to take better care of myself and my health as God has placed me here for a reason and I do have a purpose for my life today; to be a better father and husband and to tell as many people I can about Jesus Christ.

When I wrote last time we had just been at the LP Camp at Gullbranna in Sweden that really opened my eyes and I got to see the glory of God over these people who might be useless and nothing in the eyes of the world and the wise. I believe these are the people that God is going to raise up to reach more precious souls for Jesus in these end times. Yes, I do believe Jesus is coming soon as when I look around me at the world today, many of the scriptures about the end times are here.

From Gullbranna we drove back to Gothenburg where we spent some days together with Brother Jukka Mäkikangas and we tried to do our best to take it easy. From Gothenburg we drove to Säffle where we had a tent meeting together with the LP connection in Säffle and Jukka and the boys came there to rock the tent. It was a wonderful night in the presence of Jesus and afterwards I heard that the nurse who came up on stage to verify that it is a miracle that I am alive gave her life to Christ.

From Säffle we drove to Karlskoga for one night at the local Baptist church. It was my third visit in the church and I could tell it was summer time. Still surprised over how many people showed up a Friday night in the middle of the holiday season.

August, Saturday 9th it was time for the first Motor Rock event at Lifecenter church in Västerås, Sweden. God had connected us with a long time racing brother, Tommy "Tiger" Björk. He had put on the event and invited all kinds of cars and bikes to attend the day. While people were watching cars and eating hamburgers in the sunshine I did a set of music outside. Afterwards it was time for a concert in the sanctuary and most of the people who came had never been to that church before.

I played together with the Lifecenter band and they did an awesome work. They had practiced my songs and it was easy to play and share my testimony that day, even if it was hot. It became a great day and it was with new visions in my heart me and Sebastian left Västerås. It is time to do something and reach the USA-, Classic- and Racing community in Scandinavia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and this is something that God put on our hearts.

For six years we have ministered within the biker community and now it is time to move forward. There are going to be some changes within the Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry Europe next year and we will continue to reach the bikers but we also want to be a stretched out hand as Ambassadors to the car community. We already have ideas and visions and I will write more about this later. I am excited.

Next Friday me and Sebastian are returning to Sweden and we are going to play with our brothers Jukka Mäkikangas, Zet Tonmyr and Lennart Elvmyr from Gothenburg at Bänkåsrock, a festival in Sundsvall, Sweden on Saturday night, August 23rd and the following night we will rock the roof of the Baptist Church in Ljustorp, Sweden.

From there we are returning to Finland, together with the band and Tuesday, August 26th we are entering the studio to record some of the first songs for my next album that is going to be released next year. We are also going to have meetings in Kvevlax Missionskyrka, Ebeneserkyrkan in Jakobstad and two nights at Frank Mangs Center in Närpes. At the meetings in Finland, Brother Jukka will be sharing and preaching. It is a big thing as it is the first preaching trip for him to Finland, his old homeland. He left Finland in the early 70's and God has done many miraculous things in his life and through him over the years. Now he is returning to his home country for the first time.

Two days after the tour it is time to fly down to Africa again and this time I will be serving alongside Pastor Tommy Lilja on a PTL Crusade in Malawi. It is exciting but also challenging. Long flights and long days. So far the trips to Africa have been awesome and it is quite crazy to see what God does down there. The need for God is different than in our countries. The hunger and the thirst for Jesus amongst the people creates an atmosphere that I never experienced in the western world. Sometimes I wish I could be as the African people. They have nothing but with Jesus on board they have everything.

During the trips with Pastor Tommy I have seen so many miracles and so many people get saved and it is only grace that I get to go and be part of this one more time.

September 18th me and Sebastian are flying to Germany for the third time this year and a tour is being set up there. I am excited about the open doors in Germany and if God continues to work the way He have done so far during our trips it will be good as He is good and He loves the people we are doing our best to reach. We do our best and Jesus does the rest.

At the moment we are in a big need of resources to do what God has called us to do. Both within the ministry amongst the motor people as well as the recordings of the new album. We need all prayers we can get and financial support as well. You who know me also know that I HATE to talk about money but sometimes it is necessary. Right now we are facing challenges to be able to do what we have planned and what we feel God is telling us to do. I believe if we all came together with small seeds we would reach even more souls for the Kingdom of God.
