We have now been on the road for 17 days and we are so thankful for many things right now. Most of all what God has done in peoples lives. Not only on this trip, God is active all the time and to us it means much to hear about someone who have received a healing or something else from God since we last met them. Testimonies about what Jesus is doing in peoples lives that we have met are so important to us as it gives us more fuel to keep going on. Of course it has nothing to do with us, we have no ”super power” and we are no better than anyone else. It is all about Jesus and as all other believers we have the same authority in the name of Jesus as the first Apostles had. Therefore we are even more on fire today than before we left as we have heard testimonies from people about what Jesus has done in their lives.
We left April 26th and drove through Sweden to Germany. It took us three days to get to our first stop in Schaafheim. There we had a wonderful night at Cafe Kraft with Brother Thomas Draxler and his team. The same night four more member where blessed into the Jesus Biker ministry. Last year we were there the second member, Thomas own son was blessed and received his colors and now four more. It feels like a privilege to be part of something like this.
From Schaafheim we drove to Nurnberg where we arrived one night before our first event there. It was Ride On’s 10 years anniversary at a German bier garden and there were lots of people. Here we heard the first testimonies about a man who had suffered from a brain tumor but today it was gone and he was a totally different man. The day after, May 1st we ministered with music and testimony to thousands of bikers at the May 1st bike meet in Nurnberg. It was the fourth year in a row we were there and we hope to be there next year again.
When we were done in Nurnberg we drove up to Eutin, close to Kiel where we landed with the ship from Sweden a few days earlier. We have been driving long distances and it has not been without problems. The first day when it rained our wiper motor blew up but we found a new one in Kiel when we got up there. Since we got our new wiper motor the sun has been shining and we have not had a need for the wipers, typical. We also found out that are tires are on the limit to explode anytime as they are old but God is fateful and tomorrow we are going to be blessed with four new tires.
In Eutin we were part of a biker church service on May 5th and it was hosted by the ministry I once took over to Europe and started; the Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry. It was with a great feeling in my heart I saw so many members now and I am happy and thankful for where God has brought the ministry. The same night I was headlining a concert in central Eutin on a stage that reminded me of a big festival stage from the past rock and roll life. First I was thinking that this is not going to work. Me alone with a translator on that huge stage but it all went good and the weather was good as well since it was outside.
May 6th we left Eutin after spending four nights there by a beautiful lake. Next stop was Göttingen where a team of bikers had organized a Music and BBQ night. It was a great night with many ingredients and already the same night we heard about what Jesus had done in peoples lives. Later on we heard about people attending church for the first time and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is why we keep going on. One soul is so precious to Jesus and we do not see everything God does. That is why it is important for us to hear from people who have been touched by God, healed or saved after we have been somewhere. Again it is all about Jesus, not us. Still we need to hear it as encouragement as it is not easy to be away from home 200 days a year.
May 7th, another early morning and we drove from Göttingen to Marburg where we hooked up with a team at Anskar Kirche. We had the privilege to go out on the street to have church for the people who don’t go to church. The place was a place where alcoholics, drug addicts and homeless people hang out. We had several good talks with people and it felt valuable to be there talking with people and sharing music and testimony. The same night we ministered at the church we went out with and some of the people from the street showed up at church. It was just awesome and this was one of the great days on our trip. All days are great more or less but there are always different highlights.
Sunday morning we ministered at Anskar Kirche in Wetzlar and it was just another wonderful morning. Jesus was present and immediately when we came in that morning it felt like coming home. We had visited the leadership of this church last year and now we were there again. They prayed for us, blessed us and sent us out on the rest of our trip and I have a strong feeling that there were something born that day. A future relationship that will bring the news about Jesus Christ all over Germany on a totally new level. We are also now translating the book ”It’s A Miracle” to German and hopefully it will be out right after the summer.
Back to Vogtland
From Wetzlar we drove to the area of Vogtland in the former DDR and arrived at our ”German home” in Klingenthal the same night. We have been here since and we have had some real hallelujah moments. Tuesday night we played with the ”Klingenthal boys” at a restaurant, Curry 31 in Treuen. We had lots of people who came to listen to the music and hang out but they were also served the Gospel. A wonderful night.
One absolute highlight on this trip was yesterday morning. A little girl, Naomi invited us to come to her school. They had a project where they all could pick a musician and talk and present this one to their class. Naomi is from the church we are staying and as we were here she was able to bring the musician to school. It felt so valuable to talk to these children and to tell them about the dangers with drugs and alcohol. Most important of all was to tell them about Jesus and a minor thing was to encourage them to learn to speak English. This was so powerful and wonderful to me so I felt like I could fly. The same night we had a meeting at a church in Auerbach and brother Manuel Seifarth played with me and translated me. Another wonderful night and now we have four more days in Germany before we return for a week in Sweden before we are going back home. The rest of the dates and the Swedish dates are found in the calendar.
We are just so thankful to God for everything right now and excited to continue. This summer will be busy and we are mostly going to be on the Swedish roads with one of our John 316 cars. It is all about Jesus and reaching the people with the news about Him. One soul at a time and if God can use us, He sure can use anyone else. We have the same power that was active 2000 years ago. Time to get out there and preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead!
Greetings from Klingenthal, Germany!
We love you all!
