We have now soon been home for a week and it feels so good to be home with the family. Last week Monday we returned from a month long tour in Sweden and looking back now I can only say that it was a good one. Even if we had too many days off during two of the weeks I am not worried about that anymore since we are home now and what God did in peoples lives during the other days is worth so much more that we can not compare it with anything in this world. Jesus is alive and He is still doing miracles.
The last week in Sweden we stayed in a beautiful small house in Horda, just south of Värnamo. Friday we had our first event that week as we were right by the highway in the centre of the small community Bor. Together with the local Pentecostal church we were there for the people and I was sharing my life and the message about Jesus Christ together with some music. Sometimes you feel that there are no people listening, they just walk or drive by. Well, if God had placed me there I also wanted to give all I could and it showed off after we were done. People from the surrounding houses came and talked. They had been listening from ”behind the scenes”. The owner of the local pizza place gave us free pizza. They had also been listening ”behind the scenes”. The same night we had a wonderful night at the Pentecostal church and after that we returned to our small red, countryside house.
Saturday was the main day for this week. The annual town festival was held in the city of Värnamo and we had the privilege to play and share at the main stage in the beer tent. It was a huge stage and the town was packed with people. The tent was not packed but again we heard from people who had been outside the tent listening. The message had been heard all over the city of Värnamo and all of us who believe in the world of God knows that the word of God never returns void. Again people had been listening ”behind the scenes” and this was something that I have been thinking about lately.
The same night, Saturday night we had a concert at the new LP facilities in Värnamo and we were loud. The windows were open and the place was packed. We had a great night and I know for a fact that there were many more listening to the message than there were people inside. While I was thinking about these people listening ”behind the scenes” I saw that one guy who put his head in through the window and checked what was going on. He took a step back and stood outside, who knows what God did in his heart that night and who knows how many were listening behind the scenes. This is why I love being outside the four walls of the church witnessing about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sunday morning we had our last service at the Free church of Rydaholm. I was tired until I started to share and thats when I felt alive again. This is something amazing. When we had our days off I felt tired, I was bored and homesick. After Friday when I had had the chance to open my mouth and talk about Jesus I felt alive again. Today I know why I am alive. I know for sure that Jesus called me that night on my deathbed 10 years ago. When I keep doing what He told me to do I am more alive than ever and that gives me strength. I think it has to do with the bible verse saying ”the mouth speaks what the heart is filled with” and that is where Jesus lives, in our hearts.
Hope 2016 Germany
Soon it is time to get out on the road again as we are doing a short trip to Germany. We start with a wedding and service in Avesta, Sweden. September 13th we are flying to Frankfurt and we are picking up a car there that will take us on the road again. We are scheduled to be in the studio with ERF TV for their ”Gott sei Dank” TV show early in the morning of the 14th and the rest of that week we are going to be in the Wetzlar area. This trip will take us from Wetzlar to Dresden and from there back to Vogtland and Auerbach for a town festival and a church service. In the luggage we have the brand new HOPE CD and September 24th we have the official release.
New TV show
We are also starting a new TV show that is being broadcasted mainly on Himlen TV7 and on the internet. It is called ”The Rock Pastors Vlog” and this program will take the viewer on our journeys and also behind the scenes. You will not only see what is happening on stage or an event. You are also welcome behind the scenes.
We are looking forward. Not only to Sweden and Germany but also our return to the US where we are going to spend five weeks from end of October to early December. We are not doing many churches as we are going to be at places where the Gospel is not preached too often. Now I am convinced about that even if there are no people standing in front of me listening when I sit on my chair or stand up rockin’ to the new back tracks somewhere on a street, a parking lot, in a park on an event or anywhere there are always people listening ”behind the scenes”. There IS a reason why they are listening behind the scenes. It is not always easy to come forth and receive the good news if you are not a believer yet. God has to do His work in peoples hearts and prepare them for coming forth. What we do most of the time is planting seeds. Sometimes we get to harvest but it is all teamwork and we are more than happy to be those who plant the seeds. We pray and hope that the right people will water them and then take care of the harvest, so that no one would fall of the train. I am talking about the Jesus train.
At the moment we are thankful for any kind of help or donations. We are taking huge steps in faith again and we believe that this is something we do together.
