JESUS LOVES YOU!

Dear Friends,

It has gone two weeks since we gave you an update from our ”Hope Tour USA 2016”. We have been busy and that is a good thing. That means that the Kingdom of God is getting bigger as we do not serve on our own. We are delighted to serve together with other churches and ministries here in the US and I say it again; TOGETHER we can make a difference.

So far on this trip we have done three visits on the local Detox clinic here in Okeechobee. They have clients from all over the country and all the people there are there for one reason; to come of alcohol and/or drugs. What breaks my heart is that most of the clients are younger people. Wonderful young people with a future and a life. Some of them are in for detox for the first time but some of them have gone through several programs but they just keep falling back. I know theirs struggle on a personal level and I just wish I could do more to help these people. In my case I tried with everything but I also kept falling back time after time. When the Bible says that the one the Son set free is free indeed, it is also the truth. It was when I repented and turned over my life to Christ that I was totally delivered. This do not happen to everyone and I am very thankful to have had so many good people in my life during the last ten years. These people have helped me through my life and there has not been any turning backs to my old habits. You know who you are and I just want to tell you all that I love you very much. To you out there struggling with drugs and alcohol I would just like to encourage you with the words that JESUS LOVES YOU. If you knew how much Jesus loves you, you would still not grasp it. His love is more than anything else in this world and His love is available for all of us. We might be rejected and hated by people but there is NOTHING that can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ (Rom 8:39).

We also visited Freedom Fighters at Common Ground Church in Fort Pierce. This is another recovery ministry that are doing a fantastic work it was such a wonderful moment to be there and share my life and the love of God on a Friday night when a group of women visited from a rehabilitation home. This is what is on our hearts, to meet those who are in need of help and our prayers are that each person we meet shall receive something from the Lord. We also had two fantastic Sunday morning services at Common Ground Vineyard Church in Fort Pierce.

Last week we got our John 316 Buick ready just in time for the Florida Auto Fest 2016. It broke down on the way to Lakeland where we were going to be for four days at the event hosted by Carlisle Events, a major event. We had no other option than leaving the car roadside and call a towing company to pick it up as we had a tight time schedule. We did not get to have the John 316 car on the event but we are pleased that we were there for the four days. We got to meet lots of people. We shared the good news with people through music and personal talks. We also handed out many Team RFC bibles and people were just amazed over that someone actually gave something to them for free. Well, we freely received so we freely give.

On Sunday morning God had opened the door for us to have church at the car show. It started with 45 minutes of Elvis singing Christian songs and then we took over for 15-20 minutes. Everything were aired out through the loudspeakers on the entire show area and I guess thousands of people got to attend church that way. We were taken good care of at the event and the DJ told me afterwards that it was a good service. He said that he was suspicious and did not know what to expect before and just that one person comes with encouragement in return is like hearing God say; you did ok my servant. I really needed that just then and there. God never fails. He will always come through.

Last Sunday after we were done in Lakeland we had a Sunday night service at Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach. It was a good night but I got some issues with my leg and my balance. This is something I have been suffering from since 2007 when I was paralyzed from my waist down. Every time I stand up and share and sing is a huge victory and God gets all the glory. I guess it was all walking and a hard week behind that ignited this in my body. I hate when it happens and when I have to sit down but I am not complaining. I am thankful for being able to walk. I am thankful to be alive.

We have entered into the last two weeks of this journey. Tomorrow we are off back to Lakeland for a one night only service at Ignited Church at 7PM. On Saturday we have another car show and on Sunday we are ministering at our home church together with the Spanish church in the same facilities. We are looking forward to that.

We still have two visits at the detox center, a visit at Real Life Childrens ranch and a Thanksgiving celebration where we are part of feeding the people in need in the city of Fort Pierce. We are going to Daytona for the major Turkey Rod Run where we are going to have a boot and take care of the church on Thanksgiving weekend as well as do our music ministry.

This has been a great trip so far. What we have seen God do in peoples lives can not be bought or compared with any money. We are still behind in our budget. Outreach and evangelism cost money but we believe that God will provide for all our needs and that the work we do is something WE do TOGETHER with YOU. You are more than welcome to partner with us.
