We have now been one week in the USA and this "10 years with Jesus" tour has started in an excellent way. We left home, Monday February 20th and after several delays we made it to Okeechobee, Florida in the middle of the night the following day.
We had one day to take care of all our stuff as we were immediately off to Lakeland, Florida for the Florida Winter Auto Fest 2017. Our biggest problem was to get our car in condition. After our break downs last trip we decided to sell the van and get another older vehicle that is easier to fix if something breaks down and we were able with the help of some friends to get our car rolling for the trip.
We were five days in Lakeland. Four of these days we were at the car show from early morning to late afternoon. It was our second time at this event and this time we had a way better location. We got to play christian music in the pavilion that was packed with people as that is the place people sit down, eat and relax. Of course we made sure to tell what we were singing about between the songs and we shared the love of God that is in Christ Jesus to those who were there.
During the four days we did a total of 15 sets of music and two Team RFC chapel services. I guess the message was heard by thousands of people during the days. We had the honor to pray with people and people were taking bibles from the table we had in front of the stage.
Most precious to us were all the personal talks with people who wanted to know more. People are hungry for the spiritual realm. Many of them search from the masses of wrong sources but we do all we can to tell all the people about the only way to salvation and eternal life; JESUS! The days spent there was already worth the trip and everything. We saw Jesus do miracles. Salvation, the greatest miracle of them all.
Four more weeks
Now we are in Okeechobee, Florida and this week we are working on the future. We are working on building our ministry here to another level. We need the American people to be able to support the work we do. We believe that this is just the beginning and the best is yet to come. There will be changes done in our ministry over here but nothing major. We will continue our mission in the USA as this is where the Lord has called us.
Next week we are off to Lakeland again for one day. From there we are off to Gainesville for a race event with Team RFC and a church in Citra, FL. This is when all the fun starts. After Gainesville we will be at Daytona Bike Week for a couple of days before we return to Gainesville for Gatornationals. A national drag race event. We end our trip with being on the Daytona Spring Rod Run in Daytona Beach. As you see the most we do, we do outside the four walls of the church. This is why we need support and prayers as everything costs money. It costs money to reach people with the Gospel but how much is one soul worth?
We believe this is something we do TOGETHER! We are ready to do even more as this is what we have dedicated our lives to. We want to populate heaven. Looking back at the years we have been here now we do see a good fruit as we have seen people saved over the years. We are not into numbers but together with YOU we have managed to reach people so they have made their personal decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
