It is hell without Jesus

8 September 2017
Dear Friends,

We returned from Sweden on Tuesday. Since then we have taken it easy because of a sinus infection and flu. We are praying that things will be better as next week it is time for another Gospel Crusade with Pastor Tommy Lilja in Solwezi, Zambia. It is way better to be in shape when you travel long distances.

We had a fantastic trip to Sweden in many ways. The best is of course those people who made up their minds and decided to follow Jesus. We saw salvation miracles and it was the word of God that hit their hearts. When the word of God hits you get the revelation that you need Jesus. I have shirt that says ”It’s HELL without Jesus” and that is true. People might talk about hell here on earth and sometimes we think we are battling in hell with different circumstances. This is nothing compared to the real hell and how it is described in the word of God. The good news is that we do not have to fear hell when we repent and accept Jesus Christ into our lives. When we believe in Jesus we ARE saved. Then we have a tend to struggle and life does not get easy because you become a christian but you will never walk through any storm alone anymore.

We had a wonderful LP meeting with the band in Borås last Wednesday. Thursday we ministered during a food service for people in need and Thursday night it was time for another LP meeting in Vårgårda. Friday we spent the afternoon and evening at a wonderful LP day in Örkelljunga.

The last stop was Trelleborg, almost as south as you can get in Sweden. Together with Lili-Ann and Kari Karppinen we had a wonderful weekend at the Salvation Army. Again, people got saved and it was worth everything.

Teamwork

When I look back at this trip I see how God has orchestrated everything to be teamwork. In Borås and Gothenburg we have one team in the band. The LP ministry is another team and Evangelisationsfonden who makes it possible for us to travel is one team. Then we have Lili-Ann and Kari Karppinen, another team.

This is how God has set it all up. We need to work in team and work together. There are too many blessings in teamwork to miss if we try to be ”lonely wolfs”. Not only that when we come somewhere we most of the time know the teams we are going to work with but the fact that when we come together as teams we get stronger. It is a blessing to work in and with teams and this trip God really revealed this to me.

Power Weekend
Now after Zambia we have the privilege to work with Kari and Lili-Ann Karppinen again. We have a series of meetings and outreach in the city of Porvoo, southern Finland. This will be powerful!

Make America Great Again

Yes, mid October we are flying to the US again and our mission is to make America great again in Jesus name. We are going to evangelise at different locations and this time in different states. This is a huge step in faith and we are in need of partners. We have been ministering in the US now sine 2008 and we have seen the fruit. God has done so many powerful things in peoples lives and people have been saved. We consider US as our second home and hopefully it will be that in the future. To support our mission go to the support page and check out the options, TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

God Bless!

In memorian Dave Hlubek

While we were on the road in Sweden I received the sad news that our dear brother and friend, Dave Hlubek had moved to be with the Lord. It was in 2003-2004 I got to know Dave after we formed the band Skinny Molly. I always had a positive picture of him. When Dave was offered the spot in his old band Molly Hatchet he was replaced in Skinny Molly by bass player Garry Nutt and I took the role as guitar player until I left the band in Septmeber 2005.

Since then I have stayed in contact with Dave and the more I got to know him I knew that he believed in Jesus Christ. I had to honor to have him as a guest on the HOPE album and we also performed together at our church Fountain of Life Church in Okeechobee, Florida. Dave was a kindly man and he will always remain in my memory as a teddy bear. He never turned down a prayer and not too long ago when I spoke to him he asked for prayers for his health. We pray for his family and friends but we know Dave has walked through the pearly gates.

See you in heaven Dave!
