We have now arrived at the airport hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida. It has been a while since we had a chance to write and give an update on the going on’s, but now is a good time as our mission is accomplished.
We based out of Okeechobee for two weeks and we were mostly ministering at recovery centers and recovery programs in Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce as well as our weekly visits at the local detox clinic. This is something that is very close to our hearts. To speak hope to people who are suffering from problems with drugs and alcohol. Sometimes it feels like they are not present but when that one boy who was sitting in a corner by himself with his head bowed down comes and says ”thank you” when all others has left and with tears in his eyes is something that just gives us energy to keep doing what we are doing.
We also touched base with His Church in Okeechobee and got to hang out with new people as well as people we knew from before. We are looking forward to see how God is guiding our steps in Okeechobee in the future. New doors are opening up and we are excited.
Another new church we visited this time was Church in the woods, also called Freedom Ranch. We really enjoyed the place and the people there. It is an outdoor church and there is a unique atmosphere having church in such a wonderful place as in our nature. We met many new brothers and sisters there and we are looking forward to return there.
Thanksgiving & Hot Rods
The day before Thanksgiving we left Okeechobee. We stopped by our brother Tom Ratliff’s home in Eustis where we picked up the ministry tent and continued our drive to Daytona Beach.
The 44th annual Turkey Rod Run (car show) started on Thanksgiving Thursday but there was not much to do as the rain was pouring down. Friday was better and we managed to set up the tent and be there meeting people. Saturday our brother Thomas from Germany and his son joined us and Saturday was a long and hot day. The sunshine had returned. Sunday morning we had chapel service and it was time to take down everything again. We had some wonderful days at the car show and we got to talk to many people about Jesus.
Mission Accomplished
We spent two more days in Daytona Beach and got all our stuff together. Today we took the car to a safe place and our German brother drove us here to West Palm Beach. We have now been gone since October 12th and we have done 7000 miles in the US. We have had one of the best and most exciting trips over here so far. We have seen God touch peoples lives and we have ran into people we met before and heard how Jesus have changed their lives. There comes more energy to keep doing what we are doing.
Financially we broke even and we want to thank you all for your prayers and support. Now we are heading home for the month of December and while we are home we are starting to set up schedules for next year.
In January we are doing a trip to Sweden. End of February we are planning on returning here to the USA and pick up the work where we left. So many doors are opening up and these are actually miracles. We hope to be able to raise $8000 for our next trip and we are raising funds and serve out of Victory Biker Church International. April and May we are booking dates in Germany and we already have some dates lined up. More information to come. Now we are on our way home. Mission accomplished!
God Bless You All!
