Our second week here in USA is coming to it’s end. We have had another powerful week in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We started with a visit at the Detox of South Florida in Okeechobee, Monday where we spoke to a smaller group of people coming off alcohol, drugs and opioids. It is epidemic and as I said before the clients are getting younger and younger. This is alarming and we need to do what we can to help these people. Recovery is one thing but we have realised that recovery without Jesus is not what we stand behind. The Bible is clear with that the one the Son sets free is free indeed and we have seen many examples of people who have not only been delivered from drugs and alcohol by Jesus. They have also received a totally new and eternal life. What is more important? It is of importance that we know where we are going to spend our eternity and it is up to no-one else than ourselves to make that decision. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ and God has made it simple so we all could understand this.
We also had a chance to see some of the beauty of Florida and we thought it was funny that there is a town called Sebastian. That town was all Sebastian and we spent a day there and visited the local inlet park. Beautiful scenery and we had a fun day.
Thursday we visited another recovery center with a good group of people who were there to search help. It is encouraging to see them listen and really listen. They do not only sit there and kill time, these people do listen and it must be because we are delivering a life story that they can relate to.
Thursday night we went into St Lucie County jail with Pastor Dave Sheil. It was a powerful evening and we had a full chapel. People received hope and those who already believed where there to worship Jesus. At the end of the night we again got to witness several people receive Jesus Christ into their lives. Amazing and powerful!
For two weeks now we have seen people get saved and our trip has been over our expectations. For so long we have been out sharing the good news and planting seeds. We have heard reports and received e-mails from people with testimonies but this is something different. Sometimes it can be discouraging to just plant seeds. God has seen this and He has worked out so this trip we have also been able to harvest. These times it is important that we are working together with local churches and ministries as when we leave there need to be people who starts to disciple these people who have started their new journey together with Jesus.
Race in Gainesville
This weekend we have been at the Lucas Oil Race in Gainesville. We have stayed in the city of Starke, half an hour from the raceway. Lots of fast and loud cars. We have been here with Team RFC serving the racers as a team. Saturday and Sunday morning we have had chapel and we were surprised that so many showed up so early in the morning.
Saturday night we had a concert under the grandstand and we had a few people come and listen. It was fun and we have had a blessed time here.
Daytona Bike Week & Gatornationals
This coming week we are going to be playing at Daytona Bike Week Monday and Tuesday. Looking forward to hook up with the brothers we haven’t seen in a while. From there we are heading to Eustis where we are going to base out of for the next few weeks. Friday night we have a service at Northside church in Eustis that is hosted by Hand in Hand recovery community.
Next weekend we return to Gainesville for the Gatornationals, a major national race event. It will be faster and louder and we are going to do a concert Saturday night and the two chapel services as usual Sunday morning.
We would like to thank you all for praying for us and supporting us. So far we have made it and TOGETHER we have seen people receive Jesus into their lives. We have three more weeks to go and we are still short in our budget. The best way to donate is through PayPal in the right column on this page or visit our donations page.
We are excited and we hope you are excited as well. Lives are being changed and there is a party in the presence of angels. This is something we do together!
God Bless You All!
