Just been reading Hebrews and in the 11th chapter the term BY FAITH is uses many times. The Bible is clear with that without FAITH we won't please GOD.
What is faith? Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
BY FAITH Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain…
BY FAITH Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death…
BY FAITH Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen…
BY FAITH Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out…
BY FAITH he dwelt in the land of promise…
BY FAITH Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed…
BY FAITH Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac…
BY FAITH Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau…
BY FAITH Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons…
BY FAITH Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure…
BY FAITH Moses, when he was born...
BY FAITH he forsook Egypt
BY FAITH they passed through the Red Sea
BY FAITH the walls of Jericho fell down
BY FAITH the harlot Rahab did not perish
Got it? BY FAITH! NOT BY KNOWLEDGE!
There are not many things I can say that I know but there are many more things that I can say that I believe and believe in. BY FAITH we can move mountains and obstacles. BY FAITH we can overcome hard times in our lives. BY FAITH we can see and walk in the realm of the supernatural. BY FAITH we can overcome the pharisees of today!
In a few weeks we are off on another journey again and that is when our summer journeys start. These are trips that are planned and booked a long time ago without any knowledge of how everything will work out or how we are going to do with this and that BUT WE HAVE FAITH and it has worked for the last 11 years.
In some people eyes an old car can look like junk. I am surprised that when we leave this area the pastors gather around our projects to gossip, slander and speak negatively about us. For example call us too optimistic. What part of the word of God did they not understand? BY FAITH we are doing everything, also when we do practical work like restoring cars and getting them to run again.
Last week we had a meeting at Amigo in Oravais. Friday we visited a youth camp at Klippan, Saturday a youth camp in Närpes and yesterday another youth camp in Pörkenäs. We have been able to talk about Jesus to hundreds of youth and this feels meaningful. The youth today really need to hear about Jesus. They need to hear about the dangers of alcohol and drugs. They need to get the knowledge that Jesus loves them and that He has a plan for their lives. It has been awesome times with the youth and we have one more youth camp this Friday at Klippan.
We are currently also planning our next trip to the USA, October 17th to December 3rd and we are in need of more partners that believes in what we do. It is not easy but worth it all.
God Bless You All!
