Last week was our first full week here in sunny Florida. Well, we are not here for the sun, we are here for the SON. Monday night we ministered to a group of people at Celebrate Recovery in Eustis. Wednesday night we were at a small recovery center in Tangerine, Florida with a handful of men who were in desperate need of a life change. As always it feels good to speak out hope and life over these people.
Thursday we were with Teen Challenge in Sanford and it was a powerful night. The power started to increase. Friday night was like a spiritual bomb. We were worshipping Jesus at One Fire in Eustis and I shared my life and sang a few songs. I kept it short as the place was packed and the people were hungry. Pastor John Tompkins took over and ended with an altar call. People came forward and that night we got to witness four baptisms. It was a little bit like going back to the time of the first church. I believe they were wild!
Saturday was an outreach day at One Fire where I played some music outside to the cars passing by. There are always someone listening and one word can change a persons direction. It is so important that we don’t look at the masses, fame or riches. We are dealing with something way more important, one soul at a time.
Sunday we visited Insight Christian Center in Sorrento, Florida and that was our last meeting in Lake County for this period. We might be back there after thanksgiving.
Now we are in Fort Pierce, Florida where we are staying in a trailer home that a wonderful couple are letting us use. Thank you Ruth and Jim! Without you these coming weeks would not be possible.
Tomorrow, October 31st we are taking a road trip to Fort Myers where President Donald Trump is having a rally. There are usually thousands of people at these rallies and is there a better place to talk to people at than a place that is packed with people. We pray and hope for many opportunities to share the love of Jesus with people there.
Crazy Again
Soon we are getting crazy again with recovery centers, detox clinics, prisons, jails, youth facilities, homeless shelters and a few churches. It is good to have some time to breath in between.
We just started a new fundraiser. So far we have managed to raise around 2000€ of 6000€. We set our fundraiser to 3500€ for the month of November and if we come there we break even and we can fulfil the mission. As I said it feels good to speak out hope and life over people who really need Jesus!
