Dear Friends,

Another week is gone and it takes its toll on me to be away from my family. People might think I am a strong person but actually I am very sensitive and emotional. Being away from my loved ones is nothing I actually ever wanted to be. I get homesick and I have days when I question things and wonder why in the world am I doing this?

Well, soon 12 years ago I received my calling from Jesus on my deathbed. Since that night life has never been the same. I realise more and more that it was Jesus who called me and not the church. Having seen ”church politics” for soon 12 years just testifies of that we have gone far away from what Jesus wanted His church to be like.

The people God has put on my heart are those who are living outside the four walls of the church. Those who are nothing in the eyes of the world. Still God has a plan for these people and He is raising them up so that the wise will stand there in shame. I was there and in the eyes of this world I was nothing but in the eyes of the Lord I am something that is hard for me to both understand and believe. Again; IF God can use me, He can use anyone, including you. I believe it is when we are small, when we are hurt, when we are broken and when we realise that we are nothing in ourselves when Jesus can crush the rest of that stone heart and gives a new heart made of flesh and blood. A heart according to His will and plan for us.

This week we visited Chapel in the Woods, a small Cowboy church outside Vero Beach here in Florida. We had a wonderful night of fellowship and there we no christians on any high horses even if it was a cowboy church. Friday night we shared at Freedom Fighters, a recovery program in Fort Pierce that we have been working with for six years now. Another wonderful night with both tears and joy.

Saturday night was special. Very special. We visited Detox of South Florida that is a non christian detox clinic. When we go in there we have small groups and sometimes it has felt like talking to a wall. Most of the times have been blessed and last night was something else. We had the smallest group ever, two young men. Still we do not look at numbers and it was a powerful night. We left the place rejoicing as both gave their lives to the Lord and I can tell they both really wanted to follow Jesus. Two precious young souls that have taken a wrong turn somewhere like all of us do. Now they are in the hands of Jesus and He will start to work in them and with them so that they can jump in to God’s plan for their lives.

Veterans day

Today was veterans day and we had the privilege to share and honor the veterans at Freedom Ranch / Church in the Woods in Okeechoobee. Lots of people as this church is special. It is kind of like an outdoor church but it still has a roof. It felt very special to talk to the veterans as well as share my story of how Jesus got my attention.

Now we are shifting in the the second half of our 50 day missions trip here in America. We are getting more recovery centers booked and we have 25 days left before we return back home. We are halfway and we have managed to raise half of the budget so far. If we manage to raise 3000€ more we are break even (means we cover all expenses). How much are these two souls worth? How much is it worth that people who really need help receives hope. This is a work of planting seeds and sowing. Last night we got to harvest and personally I really needed it. I was praying that God would show me His will and that I was empty. I prayed that He would do something as there is nothing I can do in my own strength. My prayers were answered. Amen!

If you want to help us reach the lost, he people in need and our future, the youth we need your help. You can donate by our Facebook fundraiser or by visiting our donation page.

God Bless You All!
