Another week has gone and we have had a wonderful week with visits at Freedom Ranch during their recovery evening, another wonderful group at Detox of South Florida and today we were at Reach Church at Archie’s Seabreeze here in Fort Pierce, Florida.
It is with great sadness in my heart I have to tell you that the time has come when it is time for me to step down from ministry and give everything in God’s hands. Since I became christian I have shared my testimony with music and song with a joyful heart. This is something I have done for the last 10 years and these years have been the best of my life.
Meanwhile there have been people doing everything they can to stop me. The church where I fell in love with Jesus and got baptised had a thought of sending me out as an evangelist a few years back but the pastor(s) did everything they could to stop it. I left the congregation that I once loved so much and there are still many brothers and sisters there that I love.
I worked out of a ministry in Närpes between 2008 and 2014 but the summer of 2014 everything changed when I don’t know what happened. It was like someone hit me under the belt in front of my friends. Christian TV broadcasting networks did not keep their promises, one of them just jumped on our agreement and later thought it was my fault. The christian publishers and record labels have literally ripped me off (my wife wanted me to write the entire truth). People have been badmouthing me, lied about me and some even warned others about me because I knew too much of their ”going on’s”. I mean this is not the christianity JESUS is talking about. All this has been heavily on my mind but this is also a good point to forgive these people and let it go. All in God's hands now!
I have had a handful of loyal supporters that has kept us going but the battle to raise funds in order to do ministry has become a stress factor. This trip has been a nightmare on one hand but on the other hand we have seen people saved as that is our goal. It became too hard for me to raise funds to keep the machine going and today I made it official that I am stepping down for now. I would like to thank you ALL who have helped us out and prayed for us during these ten wonderful years. As I said the best years in my life.
We will continue this trip as scheduled and I am still excited about to see what God is going to do. I am also excited to have given up and given everything in the hands of God. IF He wants us to take up the work He will also provide. That is what I have heard people say for the last ten years. God still need people who share our vision to reach the lost and who believe in what we do.
