The rally is over

2 November 2009
Yesterday was the last day for the Lonestar Rally 2009. For me and Sebastian it was a new experience, especially since the biker culture in USA is way different than at home in Finland. As I earlier have been writing I have never seen this many bikes at one place before and it felt like there were bikes, bikes and bikes everywhere. Even on the way back from Galveston to Pasadena last night we saw lots of bikes on the road.

I am glad and honored that I have met these brothers and sisters from Ambassadors For Jesus Christ motorcycle ministry and what they are doing at these big rallies are very important. The other day a man came to our boot and asked if there was any ministers available as he wanted to get married during the rally. On saturday night our brother Roy (Dogman) married them at the rally. A biker needs a biker wedding!

Yesterday they had a church service in the morning and we saw how people gave their lifes to Jesus. Not many but each soul is important and every time one person is saved there is a party in heaven. Praise God for these days at the rally. It feels good to have been part of what have been done during these days in Galveston, Texas even if I feel that we could have done more.

Another new experience for both me and Sebastian were to ride down the seawall and the Strand in Galveston on a Harley Davidson. It was so cool to go down the street next to the sea with lots of other bikers and the weather was perfect. Now I know why people have bikes here!

We also met some wonderful brothers and sisters from Jesus lovin Biker band who performed yesterday. Some people just come into your life in a strange way and you know when you meet people that allways will have a special place in your heart. The singer from the band had her roots in Finland, so it is true that we live in a small world. I just wonder what this means and when we are going to see this band in Finland.

We are two more days in Texas and hopefully God will uses us these days as well, even if we dont have anything scheduled until we get up to Fairfield, Iowa in a couple of days. Iowa is going to be different than Texas as everything is big in Texas but I am looking forward to it. Up there we are really going to work for God and I am also looking forward to get together with some other musicians who will join me on stage for a couple of nights. Praise the Lord!

Stay Blessed!
