In St. Petes Beach we met my brother and friend Dave Valliere. I used to play together with Dave as "The Rebel Vikings" some years ago and he was with me when I gave my life to the Lord. I remember when we first met he asked me if I believe in God and that made me feel secure. He also encouraged me to seek God and gave me a book when I was down. I am carrying the same book with me when I am travelling. A book where you can look up different situations how you feel and scriptures from the Bible to encourage you. I have to say that things have been very different than they are now. I feel sorry for being such a mess on all the tours. I was a burden for Dave and the other people I used to play with because of my bad habits. One thing that I would like to correct here and now is something I wrote in my english book "Jesus Rocks - No turning Back". I wrote that Dave ended up at the hospital because we were partying and he could not drink as much as I drank. This is how I remember it but actually Dave cought a bad flu during our first tour and had to stay at the hospital for a couple of days. I guess it is because that things focused around me that I remember things different than Dave but also I was partying way too much at that time. Nothing I would like to experience again. It was nice to meet Dave again and we had a nice lunch by the ocean, so beautiful and it is always nice to meet friends you haven´t met in a long time.
We drove from St. Petes Beach to Tampa and from Tampa to Lakeland and we managed to catch a couple of traffic jams. We could only leave our bags at our hotel and then it was time to drive to Auburndale for a meeting. We had a meeting in pastor Billy Faulks church and even if there were not too many people I felt that God spoke to us this night. A great day and a great night together with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
God Bless!
