I guess it was last year in october when brother Jussi Takala called me for the first time and told me about a vision that he had. He invited me to come to Kalajoki and speak at their church. Since then we have stayed in touch and prayed for this weekend. The original plan was to do two school meetings on friday morning for 400 students and two meetings at their church (Kalajoen Vapaakirkko). On thursday morning I got the news that the school had cancelled the meetings. Their motivation was like one of the most stupid questions I ever heard;
"Why shall it always be an old drunk or drug addict that tells about drugs and alcohol?".
They thought that a doctor, teacher or someone else who never have been in that situation could tell the same things that someone who have lived it can tell. I know that it is impossible as they can never know how it feels to be an alcoholic and it is not possible to describe the pain and suffering in words. Anyway I today know that it was Gods will as HE thought it wasn´t enough with 400 students, he wanted more and therefore we did two great interviews for two major newspapers in Kalajoki about my life and my salvation, healing and restoration. God is awesome!
I was also looking forwart to this weekend as it was the first time we had a chance to go somewhere with the family. Last time we were somewhere together was the summer of 2008 when we visited Frank Mangs Center in Närpes, Finland while the revival days there. On friday my brother and friend Tom lent his van to me so I could take our dog Ringo to sister Jill outside town for the weekend. Our dog is a little bit special and me and Sebastian had a riot while we drove him there. When we got there we realised that we had to work hard before we could return the car to our friend Tom. We did it all and Tom was happy to get his car back in same condition as when we borrowed it :)
On friday night we drove from Vasa to Kalajoki with my parents car as our van is still at the garage getting some service. We arrived at the hotel Sani Fani and met brother Jussi Takala who had invited us this weekend. Usually the first meeting is important with a person and so many times I have been right about what my heart have said about people I meet. Jussi is a wonderful brother in Christ with a big heart and a passion for the lost, not to speak about his anointing. I could feel it immediately when we started to speak about the Lord.
Friday we hooked up with the local pastor Vesa Rauha and it was nice to know that there are other crazy people in the Kingdom as well. His visions about doing Gods work were so crazy and I had had the same vision together with pastor Ulf Mannebäck from Church on Wheels in Sweden a while ago. It is so crazy so it HAS to be from above. I wont let you know anymore right now but will let you know when the time has come.
Friday night we had the first meeting that was ment for the youth but we had both younger and older people. The meeting was good and as always when I speak about the things and miracles that Jesus have done in my life I get touched and it ignites others too. No direct decisions made the first night but lots of people felt God touch them and we prayed for the sick. I believe that GOD did many miracles and filled up his people that night.
Saturday we had the two interviews with the two different newspapers and especially one of them felt like GOD had planned it all in advance. I cant wait to see what comes out in the papers and how the people in that area of the country are going to take the news and the testimony. The same night we had our second meeting and at least that I can say it was off the hook. Three people gave their lifes to the Lord and many got touched, healed, blessed and delivered. We also have to remember that even if we pray in faith there is a difference between our timining and Gods timing. I am looking forward to hear testimonies and praise reports from the area soon.
I would like to thank the church for believing in what I am doing for the Kingdom and for inviting me and my family for this wonderful meeting. I am sure we meet again soon as we have our vision to do things together in the future as well.
Tomorrow morning it is time to travel again and my flight leaves Vasa, Finland at 6:25 am and 17 hours later I will be in Charlotte, North Carolina in USA. From there we are going to take a ride to South Carolina and Morningstar Ministries where Todd Bentley and Fresh Fire USA have their healing and miracle school. This one week long trip I am doing together with my brother and friend Oskar Sjöberg from southern Finland and we will hook up in Stockholm, Sweden tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to all this and cant wait to be under the glory cloud for a week. I really need it as the rest of the year will be busy. More meetings in Sweden is comining up and my new book in swedish will be released at the same time. Check out this page regullarry as I will write from our journey and about the teachings and the school.
Stay Blessed!
