Worth everything and much more

When we arrived we also went with Pastor Phillipp to pick up our new fridge for the bus so that problem is solved and the old fridge we left in Hof.

The following evening we had a service at the church and many people came. It was a wonderful evening. I did what I usually do, share my story and what God lays upon my heart and play some music,

On Saturday we got up early and went to the town centre for a couple of hours outreach. It was a wonderful day and from behind my sunglasses I could see that many people stood and listened from a distance. I do understand that it can be hard for some people to come closer and listen to the message. Many are hurt by church and/or christians and want to keep a distance but still interested to listen. For some it is a question of what others might think if they are seen amongst ”those christians”. It is actually very sad but it is not God’s fault. It is the church who have been acting in a too offensive way for too many years. All actions done without love is not really what I think we christians should do. We should not be out there judging, condemning or preaching fire and brimstones. We should be there sharing faith, hope and love.

The same evening we had an event outside the church. The weather was perfect but it was a bit hot to sit under the tent next to the bus talking and playing for one and a half hour. It was a nice gathering and I saw potential to do something bigger right there in the future. Why not a special event for bikers and car enthusiasts. Now it was mostly church people there but still it was a wonderful evening.

Next morning I got up at 5:20 am. Sebastian woke me up with a cup of coffee and right after 6:00 am brother Thomas from Zwickau picked me up and drove me to the prison in Hof. We had two services in the prison for two different groups and it was worth everything and much more. These are the places I have a passion for and I have prayed for doors to open. Last year the doors started to open and this was our second prison this tour.

When we were done in the prison we drove back to the church for the Sunday service and I had a special message to the church this morning. I spoke about that we are not called to sit inside the church all the time. We can all do a difference outside the church and there should be a signe above the door when you leave the church that says ”the missions field starts here”. I hope it was well received.

I was pretty tired after the intense morning so when we were done we spent some time with the parrots and took a nap. Now we just had found out another issue on the way and we need to replace our front tires as well as the wheels on the bus. We are working on it but please pray for this..

The same evening I took a nice walk in the nearby area and felt such a good feeling in my heart as I had met so many new wonderful brothers and sisters. I also received testimonies about what God had done in the services during the prayer time. God has really done some amazing things in peoples lives and it is their testimonies to share it to others.

On Monday our dear brother Michael Beyerlein who was the reason that we got to visit Hof this time picked me up and took me to one of the local schools. It felt just great to be in there sharing the hope that is in Jesus to the youth. We had enough time so they could also ask questions and I am surprised over how deep sojme of the questions were. People are open for Jesus and that brings joy to my heart. The school visit was worth everything and much more.

While me and Michael were in school, Sebastian and brother Helmut (the young one) had managed to do some work on one of the front tires so we could drive to a garage to get some air. I am still worried and praying for new front wheels and tires. I want to feel safe on the road.

From Hof we drove to Görlitz where we parked the bus at a camping ground in the outskirts of the city. We were about four kilometers from the border to Poland. It was also our first time here but we had heavy rain and thunder so I could not do my evening walk.

On Tuesday brother Thomas and brother Andreas from Zwickau came and Pastor Matthias picked us up and took us to the Görlitz prison. I am so happy that we got to go on there. We sang happy birthday for one of the prisoners and we had plenty of time to share faith, hope and love to those behind bars. Again we had time for questions and some men were really brave and asked deep questions and I was so happy to answer them as I could tell the questions came straight from their hearts. The visit there was worth everything and much more. Our third prison on this tour.

The same evening we had a packed church in Görlitz and I was surprised to see so many people come out on a Tuesday evening. I share my story with music and I could see tears in peoples eyes. It was a wonderful church and at the end of the evening I was very tired.

Today we left Görlitz. I hope to return there and spend some more time there. We are now parked outside the FCG Church in Zwickau and I want to thank them for always letting us park here. Tomorrow is a day off and on Friday I am being picked up for another prison in Leipzig. On Saturday we have an event at Bethlemenstift in Neudorf and next Tuesday another prison in Torgau. During these days we are going to base out of Zwickau.

What we have seen God do in peoples lives during this journey so far is worth everything and much more.This is why we are here and I pray and hope for a solution for the wheels and tires for our bus. When we return home next month we are not home that long before it is time to hit the road in Sweden but we still have three more weeks here in Germany and I am loving it!
