On tuesday we left Stockholm for Linköping where we stayed togheter with pastor Ulf Mannebäck from Church on Wheels. The night between tuesday and wednesday was confusing as we were one hour behind our own finnish time and I had to get up to do an interview with pastor Derrik for The Cure. It was the first time I spoke with pastor D, before that we only had contact over e-mail and Facebook chat. It was a great honor to guest his program The Cure life. You can listen to the program HERE.
One hour later me and pastor Ulf Mannebäck were live on Radio Linköping for one hour and I felt really good about giving my testimony over the radio. I even got a chance to play four songs from my Ride to Freedom album. Listen to the Radio Linköping program HERE.
After a short nap we all went to see where my wife Hannele lived in Ljungsbro, her first year, between 1972 and 1973. It was a small village and the houses were still there. Of course she did not remember anything but it felt nice to visit the place anyway before we went to the town of Motala were I visited my old time friend Mr. Mäsing and his tattoo studio. We have not had any contact since 2004 when I played there with Skinny Molly and it was fun to see that he had the same tour shirt on that we gave him back then even if his tattoo studio had moved a couple of times. It was really great meeting him again after all these years. Lots to tell and lots to hear.
Thursday we drove down to Jönköping to set up the boot at the Performance and Custom Motor Show at Elmia. On our way down we had lunch at an old castle and walked around for a while. I really like the view next to the big lake Vättern in that area of Sweden. A great view from the castle over the lake and the small village under the castle.
While the others were planning the boot we had a chance to walk around the exhibition and check out some really cool cars and motorcycles. It was way easier to do then than during friday and saturday when there were between 25000 and 30000 people every day.
We did not go there to look at fancy stuff. We went there to reach the lost and give away Biker Bibles and tract cd:s. It felt really good being in the middle of that many people who did not have a clue about Jesus. I feel Sweden is even darker than Finland as now they also took away two of the easter days and did not broadcast any movies about Jesus Christ at the cross as usual. It might be the muslims and other minorities that are behind this and many people dont seem to care so much about it. It felt like Sweden had skipped the easter and used the days for partying and cruising around town instead. Like a summer opening for the cruisers and raggars as they call them over here.
The days at the motor show were long but we had some really good talks with people who were hungry for God and we also managed to upset some ateists when they ran out of words. People might say: There is no God but they get mad when you answer them: Oh? Where did He go? I just spoke to Him.
I feel good about the days in Jönköping and some new connections were also made. On our way back to Stockholm on saturday night our car broke down and that we had a place to stay and that I managed to fix it myself with a little bit of help is really one of Gods many miracles. It always worth to pray and ask God for help in ANY situations.
Now it is time to pray for the exhibition in Mustasaari Finland april 24th and 25th. We have been there for the last two years with the Ambassadors For Jesus Christ motorcycle ministry. It has been a really good event to attend as we have seen the fruit. Last year we gave away around 1000 bibles in two days to people who were hungry for more of God. Please pray for us and if you like to help us with this exhibition and our expenses you are more than welcome to contact us at pjb(at)netikka.fi
Now it is time to have one day off in Stockholm before we return to Finland!
Stay blessed!
Love y´all!
