A while ago a wrote about my vision about a Christian rock band. This vision have been following me for a while and ever since I recorded my first album "Ride to Freedom" in january 2009 I have been looking for the right musicians to play with. It has not been easy as I am not easy to deal with when we are speaking music. To me it is important that the band is tight and not only that. The most important thing is that we are sharing the same vision to be out there rocking for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Not so long ago some of the members of the band Bluuster took contact and wondered if we possibly could do something together. We sat down, shared our lifestories and visions and last week we jammed together for the first time in their homechurch, the pentecostal church of Seinäjoki. Yesterday we played together for the second time in my church. All I can say is that the band is tight and this will be good. I have a strong feeling about the new ideas for songs that came up last night. Happy rock and blues with one message: Jesus is the rock of our salvation and the stone is rolled away!
Our first public performance is a TV show for TV7 that will be recorded in Helsinki, Finland may 28th 2010. After that we will follow the Lord and be where HE wants us to be. Keep your eyes open for PJB & The Bluuster boys.
Schedule
There are some small changes in the schedule for this month. Due to confusion and something that I would call attitudes I have decided to not attend at the Biker meetings in Stockholm, Sweden together with Biker Church and Jesus Bikers this year. I am sorry for the inconvenience but I have to listen to what the Lord tells me.
Some more dates are added to the calendar. We will be spreading the good news in Lapua, Helsinki, Hanko, Rauma and Vaasa the coming month and between june 11th and 14th we are going to be hosted by the finnish pentecostal churches in Borås and Göteborg, Sweden. Due to the same confusion with Street Church and Biker Church I also decided to cancel my meeting at Sergels Torg in Stockholm june 26th. I will attend a meeting with Vaasan Kansanlähetys in Rewell Center the following week before we are heading towards Sweden again to hook up with our brothers and sisters in Church on Wheels for their anual summer meet at Bjärka-Säby.
The summer will be loaded with good stuff and we have to remember that it is not about us. It is all about JESUS and what HE have done for us.
