This is our almost daily road blog from our "Road Tour for Jesus 2010"! Here you can read our updates from day to day and check out pictures from the road!
Day one - 29.06.2010
During my life I have experienced more happening ferry rides than the one with RG-Line from Vasa to Umeå. There were not much to do during the four hours on board other than eat pizza and take silly pictures.
On board I met a man whos friend had passed away four days ago because of the same injuries in his body that I had three and a half years ago. It was sad to hear that alcohol took one more life but also a sign from GOD to me that it could have been me. It is nothing else than GODS amazing grace and love that I am alive and well.
Finally in Umeå, Sweden we started our ride and the weather was fabulous! We did some stops here and there and we got to share the good news about Jesus Christ with some people and one man got a copy of my latest book, my life story. I just thought he needed to read about how great GOD is.
Today we really saw some cool sights and had a great day together! Most important of all is that it is all about Jesus, all about HIM!
Day two - 30.06.2010
Another beautiful day on the roads in Sweden. We started our journey from where we stopped the night before! It was awesome again to meet people and to realise that it is all GODS plans. Met a girl who worked at the gasthaus where we stayed and she had moved from Finland in april. She was happy and friendly so I decided to give her a book and a cd and as she got even more happy I got happy too. I love happy people!
Today we also realised that we should act and not just speak. We have been speaking about getting us some rain clothes but we got to experience how it feels to get wet ones again. Today we are hopefully going shopping for some water proof clothing, depending if we find anything cheap.
We did a stop in Storvik, outside Gävle and visited my sister Ester Rydberg and her family. She is one of my Facebook friends and we have only known each other for a few months. As we are sisters in Christ it felt like we known each other for a long time. Nice people and I am looking forward to meet them again.
We drove close to 400 kilometers this day and again we had a wonderful day! Got to share the good news with people along the road and that´s what it´s all about. It´s all about Jesus!
Day three - 01.07.2010
Well, then june is gone and july is here. I can´t really believe that the summer is moving so fast. It might be because of all kinds of stuff that we have been doing this summer. As many of you know we have been working on our house and brought healing to our home as well as ministering here and there and every where. I hope the summer will be long and warm, I want to be more out on the roads as this is really a great way and opportunity to reach people and tell them about Jesus. I dont think we necessary have to think about all those who give their lifes to Jesus, it is also important to plant seeds in people and just show them the love of GOD. Also we can never know who is saved and who is not. I am happy that GOD is taking care of all that stuff. There are too many so called Christians around judging other people, claiming they are not saved and on their way to hell out there. My opinion is that they are doing it all the wrong way.
Yesterday we left Köping in the morning and drove towards our final destination on this leg of the road tour. We stopped in Katrineholm and got something to eat and continued to Norrköping where we picked up our guitar and actually got it tightened to the bike. Now we are ready to rock for Jesus this weekend here in Linköping, Sweden.
We hooked up with pastor Ulf Mannebäck at his home and spent some time together around their table with strawberries, ice cream and coffee. Another great couple that I really love and respect. I am so looking forward to the weekend at Bjärka-Säby where we will be togehter with other bikers and lift up the name of Jesus Christ. It IS all about Jesus!
Day four - 02.07.2010
For the first night since we left home I slept good. It was cool and nice in the room and no moskitos. In the morning we had our ordinary cup of coffee before we went out for todays ride. We decided to go and visit some people we know in Motala, 40 kilometers from Linköping. On the way we stopped by a museum with old boats and toys by the famous Göta Kanal. It was really nice and interesting to see some old boats, engines and other stuff. Of course we also had some coffee and ice cream.
After our meeting in Motala we drove to Mantorp where we filled up some gas and had lunch and from there we drove on the small but beautiful roads to the castle in Bjärka-Säby for the highlight on this leg of our road tour for Jesus 2010, the Church on Wheels summer meet.
We checked in and met some brothers and sisters and spent some time toghether and exchanged experiences from our lifes since we met them last summer. Some of them we met during the winter but most of them we meet once a year at this wonderful event.
The Church on Wheels summer meet is NOT a Christian conference but it is a Biker Rally where we have JESUS as our center. We want those who dont goes to church to come to our rally as a step towards the church and to fellowship with other Christians and most of all with our Lord and Saviour. To me it is a great honor to be invited as their guest and sing, play and speak what GOD puts on my heart the second year in a row. I really love pastor Ulf Mannebäck, who also is like a spiritual father for me.
At Biker rallies we eat "biker burgers" and last nights meeting was great. I played some of my own songs together with some worship music and I could feel GODS presence in a mighty way. I thought I was going to fall of the chair and when I sang "more of you Lord" it was like HE was pouring down more and more on all of us. I have a strong feeling that we are going to experience more of HIS glory during these two days out here and we could not have been any more blessed with the weather. I do NOT want to complain but it is almost too hot. Praise GOD for the good weather and the good company.
Day five - 03.07.2010
Today was the mail day at the Church on Wheels biker meet 2010. Got up in the morning and did some worship at the morning service and a brother from Holy Riders in Norway preached. The weather was a little bit too hot again but it is really beautiful out here. While the other people were out riding I prepared myself for my lunch gig and went over some old songs I haven´t been playing for a while. It is funny how some of the lyrics still are in there somewhere.
The luch gig was an afternoon gig and I was just sitting in the sun playing my guitar and singing about Jesus and life. It felt really good to just sit and play the music to glorify HIM. I made a decision to not play any of the old songs that I had been thinking about as it is because of JESUS I am here and because of HIM I have the opportunity to give away of all the blessings HE have poured down at me. Dont believe me wrong, I am far away from perfect and I do fail time after time. It is just so amazing to see how big GODS amazing grace is, that HE can change a life. All the time I meet so called Christians who claim themselves as "perfect". I can´t really accept that anyone of us is perfect in this world. Of course we are perfect in Christ Jesus but we are still carrying around on our own flesh and blood and what we need is more of the pure dna of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We can never get enough of HIM and thats why we just need more and more and more...
Me and Sebastian went out for a ride after the lunch gig and ended up in downtown Linköping. Don´t really know why we ended up there but we just had a great time on the bike and again we met people we could minister to, just in their normal life where they were. Some people dont come to church so it is our mission to bring the church to them.
I was scheduled to hold another meeting in the chapel of the castle here at 7 pm and after a long day under the boiling sun I decided to take a nap before the meeting. Ten minutes before six pastor Ulf Mannebäck called me up and told me that the meeting starts at six and not at seven. I got in a rush and did not be able to prepare myself for the meeting as I usually do. Anyway, I know where I come from and I know from where JESUS saved me. I know what I have been through and I know what JESUS gave me. I shared my testimony for the church and ones again I could see GOD touch HIS people. I am so happy that it is NOT about me, it is all about HIM. Even if I have shared my testimony hundreds of times I get excited myself when I tell other people about what HE have done in my life. I just wish I could share the good news more for those who are not yet saved but it is also good encouragement for the Christians to hear about a GOD that does miracles as much today as 2000 years ago.
The night was filled with fellowship and the night meeting was good and happening. It is all about JESUS!
Day six - 04.07.2010
Sunday morning we got up too early, thats what Sebastian said. We checked out from our room at the castle in Bjärka-Säby and left for Linköping at 9:00 am. I really enjoyed getting up early in the morning and take a ride on those beautiful roads. I can highly recommend the roads outside Linköping to all bikers.
At 10:00 am the sunday service started at the local pentecostal church and me and pastor Mannebäck were todays sermon so I played some of my own songs including "Amazing Grace" and got interviewed by one of the pastors. I really felt GODS presence during this sunday service and again it was great to be able to tell about what JESUS have done in my life. Pastor Mannebäck preached and he had a good message about that GOD is our spiritual energy. We need to be more hungry and thirsty for HIM.
Me and Sebastian went out riding after the meeting while pastor Mannebäck went back to Bjärka-Säby. We had a wonderful day and we found a good café in Berg, outside Linköping by the channel, Göta Kanal. It is so different in this area of Sweden than home and it is fascinating to see what GOD have created, so beautiful.
At night we met pastor Mannebäck in a local park where we entered the stage. I did a short concert and shared my testimony and me and pastor Ulf sat there and spoke about GOD and told all the people who where in there about how amazing GOD is. It was wonderful to see people who normally dont go to church sit down listening while they were on a picnic or just hanging there. I like doing these kinds of things, going outside the four walls of the church and do what JESUS told me to do three and a half years ago: "Go out and tell all people about me and about your life, tell all the young people about the dangers and help those who have same problems as you have had".
When we were done we met a man who told us that her sister is at the local hospital taking her last breaths. We went to visit her and prayed for her and we hope and believe that GOD can do the things the doctors say is impossible. May GOD bless this woman and do what HE wants to do.
Again a long and hot day behind and it felt good to go to bed this sunday night in Linköping.
Day seven - 05.07.2010
After spending some wonderful days with pastor Ulf Mannebäck and his wife we had to leave Linköping. We said good bye, see you again and got out on the beautiful roads again. Our first stop was at a café in Söderköping next to the channel, Göta Kanal where they served home made ice cream.
We took the smaller roads and got to take to ferries over the waters. I really like this ride and as the weather was good we met many other bikers as well as other funny people along the road.
At night we came to our destination, Vendelsö and brother Jari Niemis home. We are going to stay here until thursday and take it easy before the next leg of our road tour for Jesus 2010. On thursday night we are taking the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. GOD is so good all the time and all the time GOD is good.
Day eight - 06.07.2010
Stockholm is always Stockholm, especially in the summer. Yesterday was not as hot as its been the last days and it felt good to get a little bit of rain as a change. Of course we are not praying for rain when we are out on a biker road tour but we need the rain for the nature as well, so our prayer is that it should rain during the night when we are sleeping and the sun is more than welcome during the day.
Yesterday we hooked up with brother Janne Paavilainen and brother Micke Taubert from Heavens Bikers and went out riding to some of the major bike stores around Stockholm, just checking out stuff. Again I had the honor to give away a book and a cd to a man we met in one store. A nice meeting, all planned by GOD Himself and this man was american. God Bless America!
We ate lunch at Röda Cafét (Red Café) and another Heavens Biker, Clarence showed up for a short while. One thing that I got on my mind yesterday was all our new friends, brothers and sisters we have got since we met JESUS! It is amazing how many wonderful friends we have today, and when I say friends I mean friends. These people are people who we are going to spend the eternity with! Each and every of these have their own place in my heart! It is just amazing how GOD is connecting HIS people and best of all; it is just preparation for something BIG to come; HIM, JESUS!
Later at night we hooked up with brother Lasse and sister Liv for dinner. We ate before they came so we watched them eat :) More nice people and good fellowship. It was not difficult to sleep after another wonderful and filled day like this. It is all about HIM, JESUS!
Day nine - 07.07.2010
Yesterday was another wonderful day here in Stockholm, Sweden. In the morning we took a cup of coffee at the local Statoil station here in Vendelsö, where we are staying and after that we hooked up with brother Janne from Heavens Bikers. Checked out some stuff at Biltema and I found a bigger "Dry bag" for the bike for only 12,90 euros, a great deal when the same bag was 43 euros at Harley Davidson.
We took a ride out to Flemmingsberg to one of the rehab homes for alcoholics, drug addicts and criminals but brother Peter had just left to the beach with the clients. Anyway we met a woman who we got to share the good news with and we also prayed for her right there in the parking lot. It was amazing how the atmosphere changed when we prayed and even those who are not yet saved felt GODS presence and glory in a wonderful way. It was like everything else around would have stopped and it was all about HIM, right there in the midst of us. GOD is so good!
Brother Janne took us to Södermalmskyrkan where he works at Södermalm in Stockholm and it was great to see how they had restored the church. I really have a warm feeling for this church and what they do.
Later at night we hooked up with around 20 other bikers from TYFRI MC and went out on a ride together. We drove to Gripsholms slott, an old castle in beautiful Mariefred 70 kilometers from Stockholm. It was a wonderful night even if I thought that they drove too fast. We sat down in the grass next to the lake having coffee, biscuits and water melon and everybody presented themselves to the others as there were many who didn´t know eachother.
We made it back to Jaris place here in Vendelsö around midnight and it was very easy to sleep. A long and beautiful day in the sunshine with good friends, brothers and sisters. What would we do without JESUS?
Tonight we are heading back to Finland with the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. In Finland we still have around 1,5 week of riding before we are back home. We are going to be in the pentecostal church of Kiikoinen on an outreach thing this coming saturday and from there we are riding via Toivakka and Kuhmo to Posio where we are hooking up with brothers and sisters from Preacher MC and Gospel Riders. GOD is good all the time and all the time GOD is good!
Day ten - 08.07.2010
It took a while to get all our stuff packed and mounted on the bike but we made it. We left brother Jaris house and drove to brother Jannes home for lunch where the served home made meat balls, great food and great company. After lunch Janne drove with us towards the harbour and on the way we stopped by the Finnish embassy where our brother Mika is working. It was a great honor to visit the embassy but most of all it was wonderful to meet brother Mika again, a lovely man of GOD.
Janne came with us to the harbour and said goodbye and we drove on MS Silja Symphony. Our cabin was small and it was under car deck, so we where under the water. We had a great ferry ride from Stockholm to Helsinki, met people from all over the world on board and got to tell a few people about our Lord and Saviour and we had a great dinner at the buffet.
Day eleven - 09.07.2010
We arrived in Helsinki around 10 am and the weather was perfect again. The day before there had been raining hard and it had been raining so hard so we had red about it in the news. All water that were scheduled for this month came at ones and it was flooding here and there. I am glad we missed it.
We managed to get lost on some of the new roads in Helsinki but found our way out. We drove for an hour and I made the decision to unpack some of the stuff and send it home by bus. So much weight on the bike made it a hard ride and I am glad I made that decision as when we continued I could feel the right touch in the bike again, even if we had a heavy bag behind us. The guitar I also sent by bus to where we are now and as there is one week to next gig we will do the same and ship the guitar up north.
We stopped at a few places on the road to Kiikoinen and finally we got here to our cabin, close to a lake. A beautiful place but too many moscitoes :) We unpacked the bike, experienced that our wireless broad band was working outside the cabin but not inside and took a ride to the village to meet the people we are going to serve the Lord with today. Looks and feels like a nice place and we are happy to be on the roads as Ambassadors For Jesus Christ. It is all about HIM!
Day twelve - 10.07.2010
Sleeping in a cabin in the middle of nowhere sounds like a dream and actually it is a dream to sleep in the beautiful nature of Finland. The only thing we found difficult during these two nights here at Kiikoinen where all the moscitoes and the heat. Anyway we managed to sleep after all and most important of all; we have had a great & wonderful time as a father and son. I am so thankful that GOD gave me this second chance to start from the beginning with the relationships to my family. It has not been and it is not easy at all but I can feel how GOD is with me, guiding me through my childrens youth day by day. Family second and all the rest comes after that and of course I have GOD on the first place as when I do so HE is also taking care of my family. GOD is GOD and family is family, it is important to know how to seperate those things as many people keep asking me how I can be so mean that I put GOD before my family. Those who have red the Bible knows what it is all about and to all of you who dont yet know GOD I can just say that this IS the way to live, in a close relationship with the creator of us and everything. Like a little child is leaving in a close relationship to his father or mother, hopefully both of them.
Also I know that being on these Christian meetings is not the most popular thing for my son as he have heard my story and lived it too. But somewhere there I can see how GOD is touching him too day by day when we pray and place JESUS as our center. GOD is actually answering our prayers just so HE can show HIS power, love and amazing grace every single day. Yesterday I was worried about our finances as I sent up a short prayer in the name of Jesus and it did not take more than one hour before GOD answered and blessed us with something so we can roll on for a couple of more days. It also has to do with trusting GOD in every situation and believing in HIM. HE is taking care of us but we also have to use our head and HE wants us to be wise as well as good stewards. I am most likely not the best steward on this planet but I pray that GOD will make me better day by day and draw me closer to HIM day by day.
This weekend here in Kiikoinen did good for me. I saw lots of brothers and sisters who have been living inside the church most of their lifes and saw their attitudes as well as I saw those who have been struggling in life like I did and got an amazing life changing meeting with JESUS. There is a big difference here and some of those Christians that have been knowing GOD almost all of their lifes can not necessary see how GOD can change a life. Most of the Christians are those who have seen it happening with their own eyes and are thankful for what GOD have done in other peoples lifes but then there are those who think they know best and think they are better just because they have been Christians for a long time. The truth is that you can NOT see the glory of GOD if you dont live the life outside the so called box, the church. We are called to be out there as Ambassadors For Jesus Christ so EVERYBODY can get to know HIM and if we dont do what we do with LOVE we are not doing well at all.
I really love the people here at the local pentecostal church and I just want to pray for them that they can continue doing their awesome work for the Lord. What they set up for last night in the middle of a beer-party & drinking festival was a sign of faith. I really think that is so cool and it is all about JESUS. Thank you people in Kiikoinen for having us here. We are now leaving for Toivakka!
Day thirteen - 11.07.2010
Yesterday we had another long day on the roads and we left Kiikoinen around noon. It was the most hottest day so far on this trip but it felt great to be out riding. We did a longer route as we were going towards the middle part of the country to places we never been to before. I start to love Finland more and more, especially in the summer time with all the waters here and there. Now I understand why it is called the land of the thousand lakes.
It also felt nice to fresh up our heads with fresh cold water from a lake and sit with our feet in the water for a while.
Later at night we arrived in Toivakka at brother Jannes home where we are going to spend two days.
Day fourteen - 12.07.2010
It is only GODS amazing grace that I have met brother Janne. He is such a good friend, brother and a blessing. On monday we just hung out with him and we had a day off from riding. We did not ride even one meter.
We went to Jyväskylä, the town I was born in back in the days for lunch and to the mobile phone store to check out what was wrong with our wireless broadband modems. Of course they were out of minutes so what we could do to get them work was to refill the cards and be happy.
The day was hot and on the news they said it was the hottest day in Finland since 76 years and I could feel it. Sebastian felt it too so we decided to work on his hair influenced by brother Jannes head as well as revivalist Rob Radostis hair due. Sebastian likes it and I can imagine it is easy to be gold with a little mohawk when it is this hot. Before bedtime Janne made us some great barbeque with pork and corn. This night we slept inside the house as the caravan where we slept the night before was way too hot. Another great day together with good people and an awesome God.
Day fifteen - 13.07.2010
I slept like a king and got up as late as 9:30 AM. As usual it was hard to get Sebastian rolling in the morning but the dog in the house took good care of getting him up from bed. Janne made pancakes for us before we left so we had an awesome breakfast together.
We got out on the roads and today it was even hotter than the day before. It was over 34 degrees celcius and that IS hot for Finland. We had planned to drive to Kuhmo for two days but we spent such much time on our stops to look at all the beautiful lakes so we ended up here in Koli, a really beautiful place. The day was another great day and I got to give away my book to two bikers and I sat down and shared the good news with three older men at a bar in Outokumpu. It just feels great to do what JESUS told me to do; tell all the people about HIM and about my life. Thats what I am living for and thats the reason we are out on the roads. Now I understand why GOD wanted me to ride a Harley Davidson; it is a great door opened to get to speak to lots of people, most of them want to hear about our Lord and Saviour.
Day sixteen - 14.07.2010
This day was really different from all other days so far. Maybe it´s because that all days are different as well as we are different. Imagine how it would be if everything would be the same day after day and we people would look and be the same as well. GOD have been so good creating us and everything else. Of course we have to remember that we are living in a fallen world but that we can´t blame on GOD as it is our own fault, from the beginning when Eve took a bite of the fruit.
Our day was full of excitement as first of all we took a ferry ride over the lake Pielinen from Koli to Lieksa. I have said it before the last couple of days but I say it again; this country is beautiful, especially this area of the country. Of course it is beautiful at home at the coast as well but I think that you can´t really see the beauty in the nature and the landscapes where you are living as all that is seen so many times before. I do not regret that we took this long trip to eastern and northern Finland. The ferry ride was awesom and it took around two hours. The weather was great.
From Lieksa we tried to navigate ourselves to Kuhmo and as I dont want to ride the big roads we took the small and narrow road closer to our neigbours; Russia. Thinking about the road afterwards I would now have been taking the bigger road as in the middle of the road in the middle of nowhere we were running short on gas on a horrible dirt road that lasted for 50 kilometers. We made it to Kuhmo but it took some time as riding a Harley on a dirt road is not really fun. We just thank GOD for protection all the time.
We stopped at a gas station in Kuhmo, filled up the tank and took a cup of coffee. We met another biker from the Finnish Intruder club and we spoke to him for at least an hour. Of course we started with the great weather, bikes and bike rallies but ended up speaking about angels, GOD and JESUS! It was a priviledge to give a book and a cd to this man and the world is small. We might meet again as he is coming to Vasa at the end of this month for the Intruder rally that is held there this year.
From Kuhmo we drove to the Russian border in Vartius and it felt kinda crazy to be just a few meters from Russia. We spoke to a border guard who was nice and answered our questions about the border, Russia, his work and if there are many people trying to sneek in and out of Finland. Also Sebastian had never been this close to Russia or this far east before. It was really exciting.
On our way from the border we thought we missed the rain and I felt a little bit of pride within me when I said that we took a break at the right place in the right time. For the last 30 kilometers it was pouring down and we were soaking wet when we checked in at the hotel in Suomussalmi later the same night. As a change it was really nice to enter a HOT hotel room. Well later at night it was too hot again and today the weather is great again. We are continuing up to Kuusamo today and we are excpecting to meet more people on the roads today! We are Ambassadors For Jesus Christ and our goal is heaven.
Day seventeen - 15.07.2010
This day we were not going to ride that far, we had only 169 kilometers from Suomussalmi to Kuusamo. Actually it was good to be able to take it easier as well as our back tire were running on its last miles. We started just before lunch and had our first coffee break just down the road from the place we stayed at. My son keeps saying that they day will not be any good without coffee and I use to answer with; where were you for breakfast? Kids in that age are heavy sleepers.
Most people are quiet when they sleep and outside Suomussalmi we got to meet a full army of quiet people. First I thought it was a cool thing and we checked out the "artwork" by artist, dancer Reijo Kela. When we left I did not feel good at all about it and I just wonder if there were something ockult in that deal. Felt better after praying for a while during our next step on our ride.
We did some shorter stops along the road and outside Kuusamo we went to a small private owned zoo and checked out the bears. It was fascinating to listen to the owner who had been working with bears for a long time and they have became his best friends. He even use to take one of these wild animals with him in his boat when he goes out fishing on the lake. Big and beautiful animals but I prefer meeting them with a fence between us.
We got to Kuusamo in time to order a new back tire for the next day and we went to bed early after a local reindeer pizza and a movie.
Again another day by Gods amazing grace and love.
Day eighteen - 16.07.2010
OH NO! Was what came out of my mouth when I opened the window and looked out this morning! The sky was totally grey and the rain was pouring down. Well, I let Sebastian sleep a little longer while I went to the local service place to change the back tire that had arrived same morning. Took a cup of coffee at the local ABC gas station while they changed the tire and praise the Lord for taking good care of us again; I got a rain suit given to me in the same deal as the tire and the work. Actually I could not afford any of this right now but I had to change it and now I know that it was a wise thing to do. The old tire was worn out and could have blown up any time and it is absolutely stupid to drive around on the wet slippery roads with a bad tire, especially when I have another passenger with me, my own son.
We checked out from our room at noon and had a local reindeer kind of meal a´la Italian style before we hit the road. Actually it was not funny at all to drive in the hard rain, even if we only had 80 kilometers to ride today. We stopped in downtown Posio to pick up my guitar from the bus station wich also was a gas station and café. Felt good with a cup of coffee in a warm place after all the rain. Praise GOD for that I had the rain suit!
We continued around 20 kilometers to Lapiosalmi to the place where Preacher MC and Gospel Riders had their 70° N 1 CHRIST meeting and checked in in our cabin together with very good brothers and sisters from Preacher MC. Dried up and talked with other bikers that came in from all around the country until it was time for the night meeting. It felt good to play off a couple of songs and praise the Lord before it was time for sausage and fellowship. A very wonderful night with JESUS in our midst!
Day nineteen - 17.07.2010
This day, a special day. My twin daughters 13th birthday and the first birthday when they are away from home and me being 550 kilometers from home. Praise GOD for mobile phones so I could call them and wish them a happy birthday and tell them I love them.
While most of the other bikers went out on an almost 200 kilometer ride around the area of Posio me and Sebastian decided to take it easy and just ride into downtown Posio for a reindeer pizza. It was great and we even got time for a power nap in the afternoon. The sun came out and the weather changed back to beautiful and we walked around the area at Lapiosalmi, a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere.
It really felt good to hang out with all the brothers and sisters from Preacher MC and Gospel Riders and I know that we again came closer to each other. It is amazing how GOD is connecting HIS people and how interesting it is to hear all different life stories and about what JESUS have done in peoples lifes. On these Christian biker meetings JESUS is our center and I just love it. It is also wonderful to get encouraged and to encourage others to go out and spread the good news. Thats what its all about!
The night meeting was off the hook, pastor Pasi Runonen preached and I played some songs and gave my testimony. I got a feeling that the main question during this meeting was if we really believe in a miracle making GOD. I just felt and received so much of GODS love this evening and I know it was a life changing night, not only for me. I am such a blessed man and it was a priviledge for me to be part of this biker rally up north. I hope to be there next year again together with my family.
As we have a long way home we decided to hit the road and drive through the night as so we could get home by sunday night. It got cold after the sunset and we checked in at a cheap place in Pudasjärvi, 155 kilometers from Lapiojärvi. Feels good to be a little bit closer to home and we had an awesome ride with wonderful and beautiful views of the nature here in Lappland.
Today we are performing our last leg of this three week long road tour for Jesus and it feels good to get home and sleep in my own bed next to the best wife in the world, Hannele I miss you and I love you! Daddy is coming home soon!
Day twenty - 18.07.2010
As it was late the night before we slept until noon, packed our bag and got back on the road. It felt good to be closer to home as we still had around 400 kilometers to drive.
The weather was not what it had been during our road tour and it was windy and somewhere along the road we also got some rain. As the rain stopped we got dry while driving and we decided to stop and have our last road meal in Kalajoki. We found an excellent steak house and we had a wonderful meal together, me and my son.
We got back home around 9PM and it felt good to be home.
Now, two days after coming home from our road tour I have had time to think about things taking place along the road. This trip has been another life changing trip for me and it has been a blessing to have my son Sebastian with me.
Now I totally understand why GOD called me to be a biker three years ago. We are Ambassadors For Jesus Christ, our colors are clear and our goal is heaven. We are on a mission from GOD.
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
