The last weeks, since I wrote last time has been very busy. Together with the USA Ambassador For Jesus Christ brothers we have travelled here and there and almost everywhere with our own testimonies and the good news about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hung out around my home town Vasa for a couple of days and we visited Lighthouse Custom where my bike is being made ready for the summer. I know it is late but when this trip is over I will spend some time in the saddle. Also there would not have been any possibilities to ride while these wonderful brothers have been here as we have been traveling in a mini van with lots of luggage as well as sound equipment.
We also met people from my church. One day we visited one of my spiritual mothers Saga Hagberg at her home, spent some time with her and prayed together. Our brother Juha Jyrkkä did also visit Vasa one night on his bike and we had a good time of fellowship as well as we visited brother Martin Kantola in his studio in Karperö while he was recording some finish veterans. Interesting, two of our members are US veterans. Pastor Hollywood Joe also preached for one night at my church, Kvevlax Missionskyrka.
First Bikers On The Road weekend at Orisberg
On our way from Vasa to Orisberg we stopped by Vaasan Kansanlähetys and their retreat day at Kiltatalo. Of course we wanted to tell the people who we are and what we stand for. We all gave a short version of our testimony and told them about The Ambassadors For Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry as well as sang some songs. This was the first time we all stood up on stage singing the new song "Ambassadors For Jesus Christ" together. Since then I have had the honor to have these brothers with me on stage for that song and we are rocking for Jesus. From the studio we took off back to the studio to record Pastor Joes Biker Prayer for the new Bikers on The Road single.
We arrived at Orisberg and realized what a beautiful and historical place it is. This was the first time we organized a bike rally there and we are happy about it all. Together with Marja Paukkunen we now have a vision for next year and we already know that we will do this again. May be at a later date as it was not that good to have it the same weekend as the school ends. Due to this I had to leave on friday night as my son Sebastian graduated from high school saturday morning and I wanted to be there for him. Also it was nice to sleep in my own bed but most of all I am proud of my son.
The weekend at Orisberg was fantastic. Bikers showed up from all around the country and I felt especially blessed by the brothers from Believer MC in Sweden who came. We had a great time together and it touched my heart to welcome my brother and friend Tom Ingvesgård to the ministry. He is now our first Biker Priest in Finland and I just love this brother.
The program during this weekend was quite tight. Brother Cele Monreal had Bible studies and spoke about grace. Very good teachings and his teachings has been some kind of a theme for these weeks. When we walk around we keep telling each other and other people that we and the are NOT dirty. One of the conclusions in brother Cele's teachings and it is so true. God can't live in a dirty house and we are all His temples. What God cleanse stays clean and as born again Christians we are washed clean by the blood of Christ. This is quite heavy as sometimes the devil tries to convict us that we are dirty but that is a lie. God can not live in a dirty house and what God makes clean stays clean. The conclusion is that we are NOT dirty! Halleluja!
Our annual service at Frank Mangs Center
After three meetings in one day, last sunday at Orisberg we drove to Frank Mangs Center in Närpes for another meeting. This was the fourth year in a row we organized a Biker Church service there. We did not get a packed house but we had a wonderful night and people got blessed by the message preached by Pastor Hollywood Joe. We all also share something and I am thankful for the people at Frank Mangs Center letting me have their society as my base as thats from where I work.
We also had time to speak to some of the brothers we had not seen in a while and I have to say that I am such a blessed man to have brother Veli-Matti Koivisto as my right hand. In the future he will be the second man on the board and if I am away he will have control over the ministry. We are in the middle of doing some re-arrangements to the better and we are going to have more contact with our head quarters over in Houston, Texas so we can focus on being one ministry. We have had some good talks while our brothers have been here visiting and we have many visions. All of them might not come thru immediately but in Gods timing.
Heading south
From Närpes we took off on monday morning and we stopped in Pori to hook up with brother Israel Stenman who has been in the ministry since late 2008. He is one of our elders and he is always on board when it is time to do decisions within the ministry. We had lunch together and great fellowship. I would like to call it brotherhood taken good care of.
We headed deep down south, so south you can get in Finland to the town Hangö. Here we checked in at Wild Viking Motel where me and my son stayed around one month ago. Then our brother Kalle Winberg had invited us to this beautiful town to evangelize and I can say it was one of God's many connections that we ended up at Wild Viking Motel and Deep South MC. God gave me a vision to bring the church to this unique place to reach those people who don't go to church. Now it became true and on tuesday night we had Church on their terrace and even the vicar of the Church of Hangö came this night. I know God touched peoples hearts and I know that many seeds are out there. Now we have to pray for The Holy Spirit to rain on the seeds so they will grow and so we can see a harvest.
We also gave a framed posted from the Ambassadors to have on their wall so they can remember that we are praying for the members and their families. It was a very special night and hopefully we can come here and have a Christian motorcycle weekend next summer. It is a good place, very central to travel into.
As our brother Kalle Winberg is on fire for Jesus he had managed to get us on the main stage on the wednesday market night down in the harbor. We went there and did what the Holy Sprit told us to do. We sang and preached for the people who came and we also got to pray for people. Every day on this tour we have had the honor and grace to pray for people. The best thing is that God IS answering prayers and we are getting praise report from people who have been touched, healed and the most important thing of them all is that people have got saved. All the glory to God!
Heading to Stockholm, Sweden
Now we are heading towards Helsinki and from there we are taking the ferry to Stockholm, Sweden. As many of you know we are NOT having any meetings in Sweden this time. Due to misunderstandings and financial issues we decided to cancel the meetings we had set up. There is a reason for everything and I have to say that I feel peace about it all. We will be in Stockholm for seven hours and during that short time we will do some sightseeing and hook up with our Ambassadors over there as well as some other wonderful brothers in the Lord.
We are returning to Helsinki on saturday and we will spend the two last days of this tour together in Porvoo at Soltorp. The USA brothers are leaving on monday and it is also time for me to go home and catch up with working on the house. I will almost have two weeks off and I am looking forward to that. I have promised to attend a Biker Church in Lapua at Vapaakirkko sunday 19th and I am looking forward to get out on the road on my bike when I get home.
After the midsummer me and Sebastian are getting back out on the roads and we are heading towards Bjärka-Säby for the Church on Wheels Bjärka meet. This will be the third year in a row we are there and we are looking forward to this. From there we will go out on the road together with Church on Wheels Pastor Ulf Mannebäck and the rest of the summer will be busy.
All I have to say is that we serve an awesome God and because of His Son, Jesus Christ we are not dirty!
