Last time I wrote we had been in the USA for two weeks. Now we are back at home in Finland and we had a wonderful rest of the trip over there. We had lots of things on our schedule and next up after we had been at the Marion Correctional Institution in Ocala, Florida was another visit at Real Life Children’s Ranch in Okeechobee, Florida. It was my third visit at the ranch and as before I really enjoyed spending time with the children. Some of the children I had met before and some of them were new. The children at the ranch comes from different places all over the state of Florida and there is always a situation at home as a reason for them being placed there. The ranch is a safe place where the children are staying in one of the homes at the ranch. These children are in need of love and help in their situations and all the homes have house parents. The people at the ranch are doing a fantastic job with these children and it always feels good to speak into their lives and to encourage them to always have faith in Jesus. Many of these children as I said come from difficult backgrounds and the testimony from one young boy who said he felt better about Jesus after the time spent together meant so much to both me and Sebastian. You can see more from the ranch at our video blog.
For the first time we visited Matthew 25 Ministries in Pahokee, Florida. That is a small community in the little town for offenders who are on their way to a normal life after being in prison for a long time. This was a very different experience to me as the entire place Pahokee was something I did not expect to see in sunny Florida. It was a very poor community and just looking at the town brought my thoughts to Africa. We had a good time there and the message was well received. The same night, November 15th I had the honor and privilege to minister at Central Assembly of God in Vero Beach and it was such a powerful night when many came to receive prayer after the meeting. God touched people and we pray for those who came up to receive healing, deliverance and salvation that night.
For the third time we visited the boys at Teen Challenge, an alternative to prison for young men. They sat and listened and again the testimony together with the word of God and some music was well received.
For three Tuesdays in a row we visited Detox of South Florida and these people are people who really can relate to my story as they are all there for one reason. To come off alcohol and drugs. It is amazing to see how God is touching these people and giving them hope. If He could deliver me and give me a new life He sure can do the same things in these peoples lives and we really saw God touch people deeply on the inside there. We are thankful that we are welcome back there on Tuesdays when we return to Florida in March 2016.
Thanksgiving & Turkey Rod Run
On Thanksgiving we were ministering with testimony and music at the Thanksgiving feed & outreach in the heart of Fort Pierce, Florida. The body of Christ came together and served the community with thousands of thanksgiving meals to people in need. We had a great time and from there we drove to Daytona Beach for our first time ever at the Rod Run.
We stayed in Daytona Beach for three days where we were evangelizing at the Daytona Turkey Rod Run that is most likely the biggest car meeting in the US. We had a great time and we got to witness how our yellow 1973 Buick Century opened up for discussions about Jesus. On Sunday we had the privilege to serve together with Racers for Christ at their Sunday morning church on the legendary Daytona International Speedway and it was just a great time. We are returning to Daytona Beach for the Spring Rod Run in March 2016. Check out the Sunday service here.
Okeechobee in my heart
That is not only the title of one of the new songs for the album. It is also a true statement. I have Okeechobee in my heart. It has become something like my ”second home” where I have a church who are standing behind me in what we do. They send me out and they believe in what we do. I love my pastors, Dave and Linda Robertson and I am looking forward to return ”home” in March 2016 and continue the mission in America.
Now we are currently working on editing the Life in Him programs we did during our last trip. We have some awesome episodes coming up. One of them featuring Big Daddy Don Garlits. Tomorrow we are off to Kokkola where we have four different meetings starting with a school tomorrow morning.
Sweden January 2016
In January 2016 we are returning to Sweden for two weeks and we start with two meetings in Tärnsjö before we make our way to Gothenburg and the west coast. All the dates are going to be in the calendar. Make sure you check out the new video Pontus who???
We are living in interesting times and we believe that we are going to see even greater things happen next year. Our ministry is growing in God’s timing and new doors are wide open. We are in need of new partners and between now and March when we return to the US we are looking for monthly partners who could helps us raise the funds needed for that trip. He died for us, we live for Him. Check out the donation page or contact us for further details. All I can say is what I usually say; ”God is good” and that is a true statement. It is not easy and He never said it was going to be easy but He sure has kept His promise to always be with us.
Stay Blessed!
Love You All!
