Another year is gone

Dear friends, brothers and sisters,

This is the last day of 2015 and this year is coming to its end. First of all I would like to thank all of you who have stood behind us in prayers, supported us and helped us out to fulfill the mission this year. Together we have made a difference in peoples lives in Jesus power and name. It is not by might, not my power but through His Spirit, says the Lord. I have said it before but I say it again. This is nothing we do alone, this is pure teamwork, even if ”Pontus J. Back” is the one who is mostly seen. This is something we do together and in teamwork there exists no I.

What brings joy to my heart is my family. We have been able to serve together as a family more than ever before and my family has been out on the road with us this year more than any other year. I believe this is part of the prophecies about that we are going to serve the Lord as a family in the future. This year my son, Sebastian has really grown into the ministry and today he is an important part of PJB Ministries and what we do together. All of you who are praying for us and who have helped us out and you who are serving the Lord are also part of our huge family as the truth is that we are one big family of brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us therefore be united.

This year has been the most powerful year in the history of our ministry. We have been on the road more than 200 days of the year and we have done over 140 events, meetings or other engagements. It sure has been a good year and as I mentioned before Christmas we have seen signs, wonders and miracles happen in Jesus mighty name. Still the greatest miracle is when we see people repent and receive Jesus into their lives. To be part of and have the honor to lead someone to the Lord or hear about a seed that we have planted that have beard fruit gives us more power to keep going on. It is just wonderful to be yourself and see what God is doing. He is able to do anything as for God nothing is impossible.

This year also many changes have taken place. I have taken a time out from my home church for different reasons and at the moment I feel that I do not want to be associated or stamped by any form of ”congregation” or ”church style”. We are still one in Christ and I do not want to call myself a baptist, pentecostal, lutheran, methodist or any other add to being a follower of Jesus, a child of God. That is enough for me and I do have my home church, Fountain of Life Church in Okeechobee, Florida where I was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in March this year with all the rights that comes with it.

During 2015 we have travelled in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Africa, UK and USA. We have met so many people that it is hard to remember them all. You who are following us know that we do not do the crusade kind of things where we preach for a large number of people. We do everything in a smaller scale and the best thing is to sit down with a handful of people at a detox center, in a prison, rehabilitation home or any other place and tell about the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. He comes to us personally and that is why being personal has become an important part of our ministry.

Once again we want to thank YOU who have been an important part of our ministry this year. We are not into showing numbers of souls being saved, numbers of people being healed as we can not really do that. You may wonder; Why can’t you do that when so many others does it? The answer is simple: We do not see everything God does. What we see with own our eyes and what we hear with our own ears are just a small part of everything. It all has to do with opening your mouth, planting a seed, the seed need to be watered, the seed might need to be put into new soil, and there is a time of harvest. This is something way beyond our control and this is why it is so important that we are one body as there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ.

A new year is coming!

Next year we start with two meetings in Jakobstad, Finland. These are held at Optima, January 9th at 6PM and 9PM. In the middle of the month we are doing our first longer journey for 2016 and we kick off with two weeks of ministering with a tight schedule in Sweden. All our dates are on our calendar.

In March we are returning to the USA for our "It's a Miracle" book release tour. YES, the book written by Jukka Mäkinen that takes the reader through my childhood, early years, the rock and roll years, the meeting with Jesus and the new life in Him to when I met my biological parents for the first time will be out by Tate Publishing in english. Praise the Lord

We are currently booking dates in USA, Germany, Finland and Sweden for next year and most of the events are outreach events outside the four walls of the church. We minister together with local churches and ministries at all places as we believe in working with local people who can take care of the harvest. Now we are booking tickets and doing preparations for the spring. YOU can be part of sending us out world wide during the new year by partnering with us monthly. If we managed to get 50 people who donated for example $20 / month we would have a solid platform to stand on and do what God had called us to do.
