Lonestar Rally day one - too hot for the Finlanders

Today was also the first day of the Lonestar Rally in Galveston. This is the biggest biker rally for me so far and the best thing of all is that we are here to be Ambassadors For Jesus Christ. Today we walked lots and we did actually meet people and we got to tell them about what the Lord have done in our lifes. Some of them did not believe when I said that I am from Finland and some didn´t even know where Finland is.

We also took a ride out on the sea and as they promised we got to see the dolphins. It was a cool trip out and it is beautiful here. Tomorrow and saturday are the main days and that also means more people. I feel that even the hardest bikers are hungry for God and all of them have a heart that one day or another hopefully opens up for the Lord.

On saturday there is also a concert in town and to me it is funny that Lynyrd Skynyrd are playing. Looks like we are going to see them as Edgar Winter is opening up for them and it will be a good night with good music.

We also got some bad news the other day and that is that our brother Usher from the San Antonio chapter passed away on wednesday. Our prayers goes out to all his friends and family. He is at home with the Lord now and we love you Usher, I did not meet you more than once but that was enough for me to know that you were a man of God with a big heart. You are missed! We meet one day again! R.I.P
