Sebastian wanted to take pictures of the orange trees and I decided to take a drive on a smaller road and stop so we could get some good pictures. I took off the road and backed in on the sand. It was sugar sand and when were ready to leave we just sang down in the sand. I am glad that young man with his 4 wheel drive pick up came and helped us. We are riding a Jeep and this incident took me back to the time when I toured with Status Quo drummer John Coghlan. He had a passion for Jeeps and once when I wanted to cheer him up and ask if the Jeep that just drove by was four wheel drive he yelled: - All Jeeps are four wheel drive. Well, I guess Mr. Coghlan should study these vehicles better...
From Lake Wales we drove to Sebastian as Sebastian had never been in Sebastian before and it was kinda funny that Sebastian was in Sebastian. He found lots of signs with his name on that he took pictures of before we drove thru Vero Beach, Fort Myers to Port St. Lucie.
In Port St. Lucie we hooked up with my old friend Garry Nutt and his friend Kristen. We had pizza together and it was really nice seeing them again. Garry plays bass on the "Ride To Freedom" album that we recorded earlier this year and he is one of the best bass players around. These days he travels around playing for Chubby Checker and some other bands. Looking forward to work more with Garry in the future. We also stopped by at Mighty Mikes tattoos and wished them Merry Christmas.
Around 10 PM we arrived at our final destination, South Palm Beach and here we are going to stay until friday when we are heading back home to Finland. God have been good with us today and our prayers have also been answered and I am excited about the two meetings in Kotikirkko (Finnish Pentecostal Church of LW) in Lake Worth this wednesday and thursday. Tomorrow we have our last day off on this journey and my plan is to swim in the Atlantic ocean. At least my toes are going to get wet.
Stay Blessed!
