Dear friends,
We have had such a wonderful time here in Sweden. We left Viksjö and drove to one of our favorite campgrounds, Liens camping in Riddarhyttan where we stayed one night. The following day we drove on very small roads to Munkfors.
Munkfors was a new place for us during our summer tour and we felt connected with the Equmenia church there so we returned on this tour. The church used the same place as last tour, Fröken Ruts cafe and this time it was packed. A brother I never met before, Janne Björkman gave his testimony about how God has taken him out from a life with drug addiction, powerful story.
I shared my life and played some of the songs from the new CD in Swedish we are out promoting right now. Honestly we do not promote a cd. We promote Jesus as the only way to the Father and eternal life. That has been our driving force since our start in 2008.
It was a wonderful evening and when we were done we drove to the next campground in Säffle. We got in late and the gate did not open so we decided to take apart the gate and drive in the bus. Of course we put everything back as it was before we came.
Last Friday we started our ministry in Säffle together with the local Pentecostal church and we stood outside the church as they had a town festival that weekend. The first day was cold and rainy but we had people listen and we gave away some books.
On Saturday we continued outside the church and the weather was much better. We had pretty many people stop by and listen and the focus between the songs was what I just said; Jesus is the only way to the Father (God) and eternal life.
I felt it was important to keep it simple and keep repeating Jesus own words over and over again. Jesus actually said ”I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me!” John 14:6
I think one reason I kept saying the same words Jesus said was that there were many people of other religions standing listening on a distance. I love when they do that. Many people search in other religions and in this world but those who keep searching for the truth will find Jesus. At least this is my hope.
The same evening we had a service in the local church and it was a wonderful night that brother Erik Ekström led. I played some of the new songs from the album and shared parts of my life story.
The interesting part is that all songs has something in common with my life and with what we are preaching, so there is always something to say before or after each song. I could travel around as a musician at any time but I am not interested in that part anymore. To me it has been more and more important to tell people about He who changed my life, soon 19 years ago; JESUS!
Sunday morning brother Glenn Antonsson was preaching and I did some songs and shared what God laid upon my heart. A wonderful morning and they church also welcomed a new member. After the service we all went out to eat together before me and Sebastian returned to the campground and our birds in the bus.
Yesterday I took a wonderful walk by the lake Vänern during the day and in the evening we had another evening in the basement of the church. I was surprised how many people came out on a Monday evening but Mondays they focus are on those who might not be worth anything in the eyes of this world but so precious to Jesus.
We had a wonderful evening and it was time for us to say goodbye to our brothers and sisters in Säffle for this time. A church we keep returning to and it feels like we are coming home when we come there. Brother Glenn is such a wonderful brother and a mighty man of God. He have had some health issues lately so please pray for him.
Today we drove to Åmål where we are right now and tomorrow we have a cafe evening at the local Equmenia church. All churches in town are involved and this is another cozy town by the lake Vänern. Another place that feels like home when we come here.
The month has changed and we are just in the beginning of our tour. From Åmål we are off to Lidköping and our event in Skara this coming Saturday got cancelled for some reasons I honestly don’t know. Lot of things are going on but the good thing is that God is in control. We are looking forward to continue this tour and I love playing the songs from the new album. The album is doing well on Spotify as well and since the Rockabilly Hymns album was released we have had an increase of +500% on our monthly listeners. That is very encouraging.
Thank you all who are praying for us and thank you all who have helped us. Thank you all who we have met so far this tour. We are having a blast!
God Bless You All!
